Re: 15

I was 17 and had a part time job but the decks were the easiest bit to
buy. Taking 2 hours to earn £10, enough for 1 new record was the hard
bit.

Its a time thing. You will get there. But I am sure McDonalds and Burger
King have paid for thousands of decks over years. hint hint.....

Re: 15

40 years ago I was the kid on the block with zillions of shoe boxes filled
with 45 rpm vinyl records. Now I'm 56 and have about 6000 MP3 files. It just
keeps on going and gets better all the time. Pawn shops have a usually good
selection of turn tables. I like Technics myself. Music is an indoor sport
of a life long endeavor, brings many rewards. Keep going!...

Re: 15

i was 29 but i was lucky to have a good paying job and could afford to buy
whatever i wanted. however i still use a set og gemini's and put most of my
money into buying vinyl. i wrote a list when i started of all the tunes i
wanted to get i.e. dance anthems that will always be anthems. i finally
completed the list about 6 months ago when i got RBA - no alternative.

keep saving an u will get there in the end
