A couple of my friends, sadly in another state so I can not attend, are going to throw a huge monster bash, there will be bubbles and lights galore. Of course, since I cant go, this doesn't stop my friends from telling me ALL ABOUT IT. So who else is planning anything for the big scary night?

We are debating having a wedding shower for a friend of mine who is getting married on the 31st. Since its a wednesday this year we can plan it and have it that weekend and she'll be on her honeymoon until the night before. But we are having issues finding a venue thats not booked or really crappy. My parents have a nice antique barn that should have been empty by now, but they are lazy and its full of junk instead. If we can't decide on anything we'll stay home and decorate the end of the driveway to help the neighborhood actually decide to trick or treat down here.

I most likely will be at my day job working, and then class in the evening. So no parties for me . I wanted to be Dog The Bounty Hunter.

Barn bashes rock! I think you could get a couple of people to help clear some stuff, maybe just move everything back around the walls of the place, then setup around it depending on the size.

I have no idea what I am doing yet, but I know I will not be handing out candy this year, I am getting to the point that kids need something other than a ton of candy to waste their parents dental insurance on. Maybe give them crazy toys or something instead.

I haven't planned anything yet. I didn't even realize 2007 is over so soon. Last year I was at a friend's party. I guess this year won't be any different unless I decide to throw a party at my place. No work for me on 31st.

I plan on staying home and passing out candy to the few kids that venture down our road. Unless I get lucky and manage to wrangle a set of tickets to something more fun. I'm hoping my friend who works at a club might manage to nab me a pair.

It would take me from now till the 31st to clean out and a couple of dumpsters at least. The barn is about three cars wide and two deep. Covered in small bags with papers, kitchen stuff, clothes, and knitting, boxes from closets they forgot they had, etc. I'd dig up the picture I have of the before and after but my mom would kill me. Sad part is the hayloft is comepletely empty but she'd die of embarassment if we had to walk by the stuff.

I really wish I had a party to go to, but unfortunately I doubt it will happen

However, I may try to have some kind of online DJing party thing. That may be pretty interesting, if I can make it work. Hell, it'd be better than nothing at least. Too bad i'll still be lonely

I have a few party invitations for the newyear. We were planning to travel this year , but most of the packages I am interested in are for more than 2 days and I can't be away that long. So I will settle down for one of the parties.

I am working on a small gathering right before Thanksgiving for a friend of mine. She ended up adopting her grand daughter, who completely took her for granted and ended up leaving going back to her mothers (the friends daughter left her here to finish HS then moved to another state with some random guy she met). Really upsets me, so I want to do something sweet to lift my friends spirits. She might be over 50, but she is extremely young at heart, and I'm going all out with the fireworks and everything.
