Any opinions on this board? My boss decided to exchange our Behringer LC2412
for it.

I'll be using DMX controllable lasers, intelligent light fixtures, dimmer
pack, and 2 relay packs with it.

It's a pretty basic moving light controller, but all things considered
it will do the job. The only thing is, you might want to keep that
Behringer board anyway, because you can only run one sequence at a
time on the DMX Operator. That means that for example if you program
a bunch of chases for the moving lights, and then you want the laser
added into that, you need to modify the existing chase scenes to
include the laser. Then they will run together when you select that
scene. You can't for example program a bunch of memories for the
laser, and a bunch for the ML's, and then mix and match. One
exception: You CAN take manual control over any number of channels
and keep them where you want them.. the board will override the
programmed levels for those channels. So for example you can program
a ML sequence without any of your laser or dimmers, then manually
control those while the ML's are running on the sequence.
I have worked on a setup like that, with 8 ML's, a 4 relay and 8
dimmer channels. It is definitely possible to do it, you just have
some chases with a lot of stuff in it, and some with only ML's etc.
And you do a lot of manual controlling. But it is really a lot cooler
if you have just your ML's and flash/trash lights on the DMX Operator
where they all run together programmed in the sequence. And then have
another conventional lighting board to run other stuff.
