What you mean the final scratch that crashed in front of a crowded stand at
Plasa this year. You want THAT kind of reliability on a windows platform the
PCDJFX is the one - that truely is a bag of shit in terms of reliability and
after sales care.

It's weird if Final Scratch crashed...as many known DJs use and swear by the
system. Which would make me want to go for the Rane quality, if they didn't
make any bugs in their thing.

It did so in front of a crowded trade stand at plasa in september @ earls
court.Which pleased me, being a hater of linux........

Probably killed hundreds of potential sales that day as word spread....

I've never seen FS crash, but things like that happen once in a while
with anything. I've seen records melt and warp while they were
spinning. Live disasters sometimes strike no matter what you're trying
to do. Strings break. Pyrotechnics cause stage fires, cymbals burst
and drumsticks break. It's just part of the game.

Sure - I agree. In 3 years I've had PCDJ crash once. The mobo overheated. I
could then detail the trouble many people have had with PCDJ FX but to
suffer a random shutting down at a 'launch' and then have little idea how to
get the linux system up and running again was hilarious.
