Club Promoters getting the best out of your Flyer print

Kiosk Uk Flyers Print Advise.
web: http://www.kioskgraphics.co.uk

Its the little things which Clients forget to do when they send there
flyers to Kiosk to print Below is some general advise

Kiosk Uk Flyers Print Sizes
Files should be supplied including bleeds if required ; print will be
returned at the finished sizes.
Please ensure all artwork is centered within the document page.

Please ensure no excess artwork remains on the artboard.

Kiosk Uk Flyers A5 210mm x 148mm
A5 Flyer with bleed 216mm x 154mm

Kiosk Uk Flyers A6 148mm x 105mm
A6 Flyer with bleed 154mm x 111mm

Kiosk Uk Flyers A6 long 210mm x 74mm
A6 long Flyer with bleed 216mm x 80mm

Kiosk Uk Flyers A7 105mm x 74mm
A7 long Flyer with bleed 111mm x 80mm

Kiosk Uk Flyers DL 210mm x 99mm
DL Flyer with bleed 216mm x 105mm

Kiosk Uk Flyers Square 99mm x 99mm
Square Flyer with bleed 105mm x 105mm

Kiosk Uk flyers Remember Bleed.
Its the nightmare of all printers when we dont have any bleed
Tthis is because cutting can only be accurate to about 1.5mm when
chopping small items like flyers.
If you are unsure about bleed 3mm on each side of the flyer

Kiosk Uk Flyers print and printing resolution
Images, which you have scaned or you are using, need be of 300 dpi at
100%. Any artwork supplied lower than 300 dpi can print blurred and
look pixilated.
Images off the web are 72dpi and cant be used.

Kiosk Uk Flyers print and printing fonts
All fonts used should be embedded (PDF's, please check that all fonts
are embedded by going to "Document Info" in the "File Menu" and
checking fonts. Freehand & Illustrator files "Converted to
outlines". Kiosk can accept Mac fonts for Mac generated artwork. Pc
Quark artwork and fonts we can accept subject to the fonts convert
correctly, but the conversion can create issues sometimes on the
conversion of PC fonts to avoid this issue please create a pdf or a
high resolution tiff or jpeg.
Any Mac fonts supplied, ensure both the postscript (printer) and screen

fonts.

Kiosk Uk Flyers print and printing colour
Unless specified all Flyer colour printing is full colour and should be

completed and saved in CMYK process. Delete any unused colour swatches
from the colour palettes if possible.

Kiosk Uk Flyers. Please convert any spot colours to process,
Please be aware that any conversion can change the colour. Do not use
Pantone spot colours unless pre-arranged for specialist jobs like one,
two colour jobs.
Text or lines which has been produced in black, please use 100% black.

For solid black areas only we recommend a vibrant black is created with

100% Black, 40% Cyan.
There are various ways to produce a black but remember if your black is

heavy the time it takes to dry can create a problem.

The maximum ink coverage should be no more than 240%.

Uk Flyers print and printing colour facts
Please note that it is unlikely that the colours shown by your monitor
will be the same as is produced by the printing process, this is
because a monitor displays in RGB and is subject to Balance and
Contrast adjustments (like a TV).

Desk Inkjet or Laser printer will printer will also not truly reflect
print colour, as these printers are not calibrated to do so. unless
they have calibrated like design studios do so.
