Common Mistake of a DJ
What are your common mistakes as a DJ? Mine is talking with the microphone off. It always happens to me. And sometimes I also forgot to turn off the Microphone and I am talking to somebody over the phone.

I used to have a big problem with remembering to make one song stop playing while I started the second one. So I'd switch and then forget to key up the next song until right before the second song was over and then I'd have to rush and decide what to do. Luckily I used to use lots of generic music so it was easy to just pick another song off the playlist and plan better for the next switch.

Stupid Faces
the thing i hate the most is not realizing i'm making stupid faces when i'm trying to do complicated patterns. i thought it would be good to train to let my eye's unfocus while i scratch so i always pick a focal point and try to let my eyes relax. i did it because i noticed whenever i was really in the cut it was during these hypnotic phases where i'd zone and my eyes would defocus. The eye relaxing thing was supposed to trigger that and sort of worked but also has the side effect of making you forget yourself and in my case that means pulling some almost unbelievably stupid faces, tongue hanging out but not cool like jordan shooting a 3
