The bar where I do most of my DJing just got this player. If anyone is
considering a rack-mount CD player, I recommend you get this if you can
afford it. I can't speak highly enough about it... a truly fantastic CD
player.

One of the most amazing features is the "alpha-track". You can literally
play 2 songs from the same CD at the same time; with 2 CDs you can play a
total of 4 songs at once!! This is awesome when you are using a
compilation CD and you want to go from track 5 to track 12 without dead-
air. You can even beat mix (each song has separate pitch and gain
control), so if you have 2 great songs on one CD you always wanted to
beat mix you can now do it from the same CD! It's an awesome feature!! It
works best with a 4 channel mixer but can also work with a 2 channel
battle mixer.

My only complaint: the manual is obviously translated from Japanese. The
translation is so poor, at times it is laughable! Reminds me of the kind
of stuff you find on www.egrish.com! First you read it, then you
experiment with the feature, then you say, "aha! so that's what they're
trying to tell me!" LOL.

I still prefer my vinyl though! :-)

Hehe, I've been there - it's quite hilarious. Some of my favorites include
"homo soap," and "cream pain."

Nice to hear that you still love your vinyl though. CDs. *shudder*
