i have the plugin setup properly i am sure for the denon 9000 cd mixer. The
problem is that i cannot seem to search through mp3's to the first beat for
cueing purposes. the bend/search button does not change the function of the
wheel for some reason. does this unit only play mp3's but not treat them
like a regular cd for cueing?

I have the same problem. I've tried to find a solution to it but there is
none that I know of. You will have to do it all by ear. You can't loop
either. What I have done is use a music editing program like cool edit 2000
to delete the silence in the begining of the track the resave the file.
That way when I press play, it starts at the begining.

It got to be a pian so I use PCDJ to play back my mp3's

Correct - there is none. It's very frustrating for most users. It could
easily be fixed with a software patch from Denon mind you.....

You will also find that you have to have pristine media to playback
flawlessly or you will get some real odd skips, jumps and fails.

on the 4000, it will only show elapsed time, is that the same with the 9000?
