DJ college parties with just computer and mixer?

So ive been fucking around with Virtual DJ preparing to DJ one of my frats upcoming parties soon but think having a physical mixer would be really beneficial. I was wondering what I need to look out for in order to buy a mixer that can hook up to my laptop (PC). Mainly Im going to be playing frat rap and electro-house. For price under $100 would be good based on the fact I won't really be using effects or whatever. And what questions should I ask a buyer if I was to look into buying a used mixer.

I'm not claiming to be a DJ i just want to do this to save my frat some money by not getting a real "DJ". I was looking at this used Numark DM1050 mixer on eBay...

Would this mixer get the job done of allowing me to play music from my laptop and have control via the mixer? any advice would be sweet thanks.

So, my advice is: Do What You Want to Do! If your parents really love you, they will finally accept you for who you really are. If they don't, what have you lost that you never really had? It's your call.
