DJ guide

After 20 years in the industry I am writing a "How To" book for new DJ's.
Topics, I have included so far, are listed below. Have the older guys here
got any suggestions of other information I may have missed? Similarly, do
any of the newbies here have particular questions that would be relevant to
the guide?..

Mixers

CD Players

Turntables

Amplifiers

Speakers

Crossovers

Small Rig Schematics

Large Rig Schematics

Microphone Use

Music and Requests

Drugs and alcohol

Buying Equipment

Beat Mixing

Vinyl vs CDs

Beat Mixing

Pros and Cons

Glossary

Cheers

I think that a basic intro to lighting would also be useful, especially
for more mobile-orientated DJ's. Perhaps some info on promotions &
organising nights might be of use as an appendix.

Re: DJ guide

They have some good stuff there, however my book is a lot more back to
basics than that. That site is great for someone who knows what gear he is
using and how to use the gear. This is more of an instructional manual.

Re: DJ guide

'How to DJ properly' is the best book out there. Be difficult to beat it.
