DJ Help needed

Hello There,

My name's Russ and I am in a bit of a bind. The Denon 2000F DJ system I
borrowed to use for my wedding (On Sunday the 10th!) is not letting me
play more than one track at a time.

Could anyone with experience on such an issue please offer some advice?

Thanks muchly,

Soon to be married guy

I'd say that you're getting value for the money that you paid out

Hire a professional to do the job.

This is supposed to be a big day for your and your wife-to-be, but you've
'borrowed' a DJ system instead of letting a professional earn a living.

Now that you've found out that it might not be quite so easy as you
thought, you've come here to ask the advice of the professionals, and the
gifted anateurs that hang pout here as well.

cheers

BJ

That's true but if he ain't got the money to hire someone out and wants to
just have some CD's playing then a little help would not go astray. Saying
the same I must admit that some DJ's I have seen at weddings that were 'too'
cheap were worse than leaving a twin deck on autoplay!

Oh Russ, the Denon 2000F (mk2or3) has a single or continuous play button,
might be worth pressing that then play.

RTFM for all other answers :-)

Re: DJ Help needed

Nothing compares to the over-all rock-solid reliability of the Denon
decks. I have seen beer spilled on these decks and they still operate
fine with no problems. They may not have all the bells and whistles
found in the newer decks, but that simplicity also pays off due to the
posibility of less things going wrong with them too. The same goes
for the 1200's. Matter-of-factly, I have also seen beer spilled on
these babies and they still operated fine, with the exception of a
more resistant pitch controller.

Sounds like you need to be more careful with your beer around your
equipment.
