ABOUT dj MEGAGIRL

Let us introduce you to DJ Megagirl, also well known as Widia. She is a dandy Dutch-Hindustani lady, who is born and raised in the Netherlands. Not only a dj, but also a great performer who likes to interact with the people.


Dj Start On 13 January 2004, she got her first turntables for her birthday, because it was her dream to play records and perform for people, since her childhood


About music styles you can say dj Megagirl is a freestyle club dj. Club-house, club, latinhouse, eclectic & dance are her main course


She likes to play and mix different styles, because she feels one style is to boring to play, to listen to and to dance on for whole evening. A little tough with a feminine touch, but also happy, uplifting (party) and floor-filling, popular and non-popular, mix of vocals and non vocals, is her way, music of this time

Influenced by different dj styles as example Lucien Foort, Erick E, Sidney Samson, Melvin Warning, Marcella, Freemasons and many other top dj’s and producers, but she plays mainly herself of course


You can say that dj Megagirl is a very passionate lady who lives on music and lives to perform as an artist. She gives all her feelings and emotions by playing or dancing on the music. At the most of all, she likes to make the crowd happy with her music. When that happens, she has the time of her life

Dj Megagirl has, except to play for the crowd inside and outside the Netherlands, more goals she likes to achieve. Also she started in 2004 with organizing her own events and for clients. Still she likes to organise, but to dj, producing and to perform have her first priority


Also she started with producing of her own original songs and is planning to release some in 2011. It’s for sure that you will hear more in the future of this dynamic Shejay
