Re: DJ Mixers

its a copy of the pioneer 600. Berringer are renowned for stealing er um
borrowing technology. They buy good product and reverse engineer it. then
make copies of it at lesser prices. Having said all that. Yeah, they are not
bad.

Re: DJ Mixers

Yeah, as long as you need all those channels and features.

How many inputs do you need? And how often will you really use the effects?
Answer those questions and you know whether it is the right mxr for you.

Re: DJ Mixers

My mixer is a battle style, 2 chanell, no FX, Rane TTM54i. I love it. I
straight up hate having to spin on Pioneer mixers. They sound like ass, and
are buried in "features" which do tircks for the skilless. Nevertheless,
my car stereo is all Pioneer.

Dunno. Behringer is generally a good deal for the money for a CHEAP
mixer, I wouldn't hesitate to suggest Behringer if I was looking for a
small 2 or 3 channel mixer to get someone started (like $80-$180 range).
But I wouldn't feel too good spending $250+ on a Behringer DJ mixer no
matter how many knobs it had.

In the $200-$300+ range maybe a Stanton or a Numark, or a lower model
Tascam. Or the Vestax PCV-175, which I have heard isn't that great but
a "not that great" Vestax probably still compares pretty well to a
Behringer.
