DJ Vinyl in Mp3 format...

I've just compressed over 375 DJ vinyls to mp3 format with id tags. I
have over 3000 tracks to go. Would anyone like to trade?

These are all my own store bought Dj Vinyls.

What is it with this phrase 'DJ Vinyls' - they are called records, unless your
'DJ Vinyls' differ in some way to regular records

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but MP3 format music files will not
play on regular CD players such as the Numark CDN-25. you need a
special CD player that supports MP3's for those music files.

But the sound quality is pants on a loud system with loads of digial aliasing
from the multiple conversionsplis you need 10 times as many discs.

well if you cannot use mp3s directly, that's the only solution.
burn the cds, use them, throw them away. then you won't have multiple
conversions
sound quality is the same from mp3s and audio cds burned from them, maybe
even higher from burned audio cds, depending on the d/a converters.

Store bought vinyl in the 12" single format, is often
called "DJ vinyl". True DJ records are rarely store bought,
but come from a record pool, and are typically white label,
DJ-only, limited edition remixes. You can find them in used
bins, but they are not sold in quantity at retail stores.
When I was a member of a pool, 75% of my 12-inchers
were ' freebies' (after deducting membership fees).
