Anyone? Ran across this person a couple of weeks ago, quite entertaining. There is also a chick that is on AGT and I think she made it to the semi finals with her boxing. Not bad, even for a chick, but she is insanely shy, which I think is her downfall.

That is so awesome!!!
Is that something new? I've never seen anyone do that before. Really very cool though. I wonder how hard it is.

From what I can tell, it is not that hard to attempt, but it does take work to get good at. There is a girl on AGT (America's Got Talent) right now, that has made it (I think) into the semi finals, and she is right up there with this guy, but this guy travels to a ton of countries and is known world wide. Shes got abit to go catching up to him. :)

oo that was like fun!
Not something I would do, but something I love to watch!
The streets of NYC are littered with people doing stuff like that for money.

Those videos are epic!
I mean, that has to take a lot of skill to do something like that.
DanTM: beatboxing has existed for decades, if not longer. For instance many old-school rappers utilized it to some degree, either by themselves or guest artists on their albums. A good example would be Ready Rock C(think that was his name) on the early Fresh Prince albums. There was this one song where he beat-boxed the theme to Donkey Kong, and that was pretty darn cool.

Beat boxing always gets my attention, not only the skill involved, but the air these people are taken in to spit out some crazy sounds. Truly amazing, I sometimes find bb'n online, and just listen to that rather than music. Then again, I am an oddball. :)

This guy - Matisyahu (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matisyahu_%28reggae_artist%29) - is a pretty good beat boxer that has made it big with an album or too.

Thats pretty cool.
Ya the Fat Boys also did a lot of beat box'n as part of their gig, also the guy that did most of it was one of the pioneers of beatboxing.

Matisyahu beatboxes? No kidding. Anyway, beatboxing was a large part of oldschool hiphop. Some underground artists continue to use it to this day as well.

Does he do the beat box and sing at the same time?
Cause if he does, I'm pretty sure he stole that from someone else, but I may be thinking of the wrong guy.

I need to look and see if this new Napster deal has any good Matisyahu, that guy rocks it hard, and for some of the things he talks about, its just perfect sounding to me. And I'm a mean critic!
