Some of us just love the music, some love the style of clothes the DJ's wear. So hear is my question, how many get picked on for their clothing style. What are some of the weird things that have happened if someone commented, good or bad about what you wear?
I once had two males comment that they were not sure if I was a boy or a girl because of what I had on - a t shirt and a pair of kick girl raver pants. :( So I was having a bad day, and I commented back that if they cant tell I'm a chick, they really need their eyes examined (I said it however, a tad more blunt than that, but I'm sure you get my point).

I used to get tons of comments, but I don't wear "raver" clothes, and I'm curious what is the DJ style? I wear heavy metal t's, long johns, fish nets, cut offs, metal chokers, etc etc. I fit right in to any metal concert.

While I cant say I wear anything like that, I have always thought its best to dress for confront rather than style. I can say that I am not like most my age, with dressing all in the same exact color - that is really tacky to me and I cant stand it. Confront is good, matching is good, but not when you are walking around looking like an Orange and have the poofy hair, that is not the kind of Gram I am.
I dress for the occasion, maybe the way I was brought up. If I am having a lazy day its t shirt and jeans, for anything I have to dress up for I will, but only if I have to.

I would say I dress for where i'm at. Since I don't actually DJ, but am more of a "DJ's girl", so I dress how i'm needed for that show.

If I ever went out to the clubs again, I am sure I would need to raid someones closet. It has truly been that long. I don't think anything I have now would be "in style". :(

I like baggy clothes and a usually a hat. Sometimes a hoody is good also. Just whatever I am comfortable in.

I just wear jeans and my favourite bands apparal tops. Most of the bands you can't find here so it's all imported.

I used to wear jeans and a tank top, which is what I usually wear anyway, just a bit dressier. If I was DJing with my one friend it was black cargo pants and a black tank though as all his people dressed in all black. He felt you should be focusing on the music and the club not the people playing the music.

I normally dress to fit in wherever I'm playing. If its a trendy club I dress trendy (and normally beg someone to borrow clothes), if its a kids birthday party maybe khakis and a polo shirt to look low key. I went to a wedding once where the DJ dressed in drag with a fruit hat for the conga line (tux the rest of the time) and swore I would never do something so gauche.

I just throw on whatever I have around the house, with no rhyme or reason to it.
No unique sense of style from me!
Some people just spend way too much time, effort, and money just to maintain some sort of fashion image.

As you may have all guessed, I like to wear all black usually!
If that's typical and/or Goth, so be it then.
I honestly don't put much thought into what I wear, but I prefer black usually.
Everyone should just wear whatever they like, without trying to fit in with some specific counter-culture.

I have a very diverse wardrobe, and I wear whatever I feel like on that particular day. There is nothing very outrageous, but I still like my sense of style.
I see many DJ's have a single type of clothing. Do you make your own unique way of clothing yourself. I saw someone who wears a skirt like an Irish when he is on his dj thing and I could always remember him just by his clothes. Any Dj here have a unique clothing compare to other DJ's?

I don't have the time to spend for an hour or more getting ready, whatever is comfy I wear. I also don't like it that depending on what I wear I am looking at as being someone that refuses to grow up, sometimes I wear clothes that most teens do, and others my age think I am just trying to prove sometime. Maybe they just don't know what comfy really is.
