Love it, hate it, do you have it yourself? Its been quite sometime since my hair was fast, about five years or so. If you don't know what it is, here is a low down from urban dictionary. (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=fast-hair)
a word to describe a number of different hairstyles that is combed back or tied back in a way that makes the wearer appear to be going fast all the time. The most common application of this word is the new trend with females who wear their hair in a stylish pony tail complete with a large ramp like projection at the front of their head created by means of hair pins, hair products and really long bangs, giving them the appearance of constantly moving at lightning speed.
I saw a man this morning wearing that hairstyle, it looked pretty good on him.
I guess it wouldn't fit everyone, he had a straight face.

So they kind of look like they are standing in a wind tunnel? Sounds...trendy...and not very usable in the real world. I can't imagine my banker or a mom having a hairstyle like that. Let alone having the time to style it probably.

Not for me, though it sounds, um, different! I need a hairstyle that takes five minutes to put together and about as much to wash and dry. I just don't have the time to be messing around for hours.

When I had mine done all in spike size, it was back in 03 and my bangs were about 3-4" long, it was cut so that all could be spiked at about the same length. Sometimes I would wake up and spike it all, and sometimes it would just be a partial. I have also had it shaped into kitty ears and other stuff. :) Here are afew different verisons, as to me fast hair is not just the deff. above, but anything creative. :)

Ah, makes more sense than that definition, lol. I don't normally do that much with my hair since its rather long and spikes/etc would take more product than I prefer having to wash out afterwards. I do have friends who do the cute/funky thing with their hair and colors/glitter, etc. Its cute but not something I do myself.

When I was spiking, there is one that I used that had conditioner in it, so even when I used it, my hair never broke off or anything like that. And let me tell you, it worked so well, I could be on the back of a bike going 100mph and it still held, thats some good product if ever! :D
