Anyone here listen to this radio plays? This plays are very much popular when only a few can own a TV and computers is as big as a whole room. Now, because of technology, people have turned on watching TV series rather than listening to radio plays.

In order to get more listeners, some people went to the internet in order to spread radio plays again. I have listened to some of these online radio plays and they are quite entertaining. Also some of these radio plays continue the story of TV series that have ended in TV.

Yes I agree with you that because of technology people nowadays chooses to spend more of their time online than listening to the radio. When they listen to music they have their MP3 players with them.

I also do listen to online radio stations. The only problem I have is that the internet connection. It keeps on buffering which made me sick. :)

I love radio plays actually, but I haven't heard too many lately.

Are they even still being made?

If so could anyone provide any links to shows that I could check out or no?

I look forward to hearing more details!

I have heard a few in my time, but then again, I also grew up when some were still airing, and that was well before the internet was about. I guess I am getting old. I remember one that always ended with "And now you know the rest of the story", I don't think it was a true RP, some radio station had it every once in awhile, wish I could remember it though. Anyone?

Yeah, radio plays are awesome. Thankfully many good series are still being produced online, even if it's dead in the water with plays on traditional AM/FM radio.

If anyone is interested in hearing some good audio dramas, check out www.darkerprojects.com and http://www.pendantaudio.com/ for starters.

I may have some other links too, if anyone is interested.

Links would be great, I've been debating getting my parents an ipod for the holidays and being able to load some radio dramas in for them would be great. Do they offer them as weekly podcasts?

Nice links you have there. I will probably give it a try. I remembered when I was a child I always listen to radio plays. But its not online. Its the traditional transistor (AM/FM Radio). :)
