Who here has any skill teaching others? I don't. I'm like "uuuuuh, you put a record there, and a record there, then you figure out how to melt them together " haahaha

Needless to say, most people don't ask me how I do it twice.

I am more of a listen type, than a make something type. I used to sing long ago. I can mange the cello, the recorder, and afew strings on a guitar - I am not a musical person, least for the singing part that is excluded. :)

I think if I had a beater set (like you think of beater, its okay if it gets messed up) setup, I could go and do okay, but I dont think I would ever be able to re-play something I have done before.

Does that make sense?

Although everybody needs to start from 0, to be a DJ means you are a music enthusiast, not just one type of music genre but many types. Mixing different kind of tunes into one single beat is a talent and I hope I could learn that. Maybe having the right beat is the first thing to learn. But I might be wrong, I hope someone with experience in DJing will teach us more.
