As the title asks, why do you listen to techno music? For me personally, it gives me a mood/beat that I absolutely love. I love all the things you can listen to in techno. It is really amazing.

I am Aquarius (get bored easy) and OCD, so for me if something is going on in the back round, like you stated with a beat/rhythm it is easier for me to work on multiple tasks at one time. :)

Not sure exactly WHY I listen to techno music, but most of the styles I like have a heavy atmosphere to them. Anything that takes me to other places,times,states, or worlds is almost certain to find time on my playlist.

I listen to anything I can sing or constantly be entertained with. The radio, well we all know, is sometimes really bad (the nicest thing I could say). I need sometime that will keep me going when I am stressed or working alot, so techno with all the beats does it for me. I LOVE the bass, that is the best, I think most of my songs are bass songs, nothing more, nothing less.

Cause I likes it. Duh.

But really, because it lifts me. It's the kind of music that you can dance to or just FEEL to.

If I don't listen, my head will explode - this almost happened once, really bad mess to clean up, so I keep music on hand in all rooms here, just in case.

Anything from relaxing, to cleaning, to parties, to just about anything else I can think of. I like things with beats, not that crap on the radio. When people ask if I listen to *insert whatever sucky artist/band here* I start to :swear: :swear: :swear: until their ears start to bleed. Thats how I feel when I hear some crap on the radio now. :)

I've always been entranced by how up-beat techno and liquid music can be. IT also REALLY calms me down when I've had a bad day or just something has gone wrong.

The only time music can not make me happy is when I am sick. Other than that, the worst day can be fixed with a few happy notes. It's all good, keeps me sane and from smacking people alot. :)

Because of the pretty colors it creates in my mind.

As odd as that sounds, no i dont do drugs, lol. It has always created colors when i listen.

Well it's pretty cool to skate to. And my mom listens to it, so i've just grown up listening to stuff.

Its my drug.

It calms me when i'm upset, it energizes me when i'm in need, and it takes me to a different time and place.

Believe it or not, techno keeps me focused on my work. Whenever i'm not listening to something like techno, or classical music I tend to drift off from what i'm doing. Also, the music's amazing!
