Does anyone here make videos for youtube?

Once I get a decent digital camera (read: not phone), I'm gonna start. Just wondering if anyone had any tips.

A friend of mine had uploaded 2 videos ,but he was very demotivated looking at the video statistics at youtube.One thing that didn't work in this favor is that he didn't do a good job with choosing the keywords.His keywords were extremely targeted , but hardly invited attention.I think choosing broad-based keywords can bring a video more hits.An interesting text description also helps.

Another way of making your video become more dominant among the other videos of the same type is the views. Have your friends see your videos by telling them through emails, messengers, or just plain talking to them. It will take time but it will eventually be seen by many people if its rank is getting higher.

I don't make a video for I don't have any video cam at the moment. But I do love watching videos from YouTube.

Anyway, can you get some money by posting videos or just posting for pleasure?

Well, that would depend on what you are promoting and how good it is.If you are a producer and promoting your music ,then you can have traffic visiting your link if they like your records.Perhaps some might even decide to buy.Same for other services.You could also make money if you have advertisements showing on your site.Basically,whatever you promote ,whether or not you make money depends on how good is your promotion and product/service.
