Re: Dmx Controller
Yeah I am using Light Jockey. It takes a while to get to know. But it makes
life easier if you need to be able to walk away from the lightshow and still have it constantly changing. You can pick what colours and gobos you want and when without having know DMX or colour numbers. You can have hot keys on the keyboard also, that allow you to turn on strobes change colours/gobos etc without using the mouse. I am a fan. Re: Dmx Controller
If in UK the 'Light Jockey' from Showtec looks promising
I have 4 Second hand Martin Roboscans which came with a blank 2308 controller, I just cannot get on with programming the 2308 it's a piece of s**t so i've recently been looking for a replacement DMX controller. This one was also called the 'DJ Mingle' and is made in the far east so it may be called other things in the US too but take a look... http://www.rockshop.de/html/ShowtecL...MX0116007.html not a great pic but you can see the faders which each control a single DMX channel on your unit so one is gobo, one is colour, one is tilt, pan etc. because its on faders you can very rapidly create scenes and then store them into sequences before using them to create shows. The unit has 30 shows hard-programmed in and you can greate 30 more. UK cost is £140.00 very reasonable.
