Eminem
Anyone listens to the music of this great musician? His songs are mostly written about his life and his point of view. Although its full of swearing it really just tells the truth about what he is experiencing in his life. Anyone here beside me who likes his music?

I like his music a lot. He is one of my favorites. I find the way he communicates his message very powerful and it's not because of the swearings.I have read his story and feel he has gone through a lot before clicking .Perhaps that's what comes through in his music.

Agreed with all the above, but the whole "I'm white" thing, least for me, people really need to get over that. I listen to an artist b/c I get what they are doing, not b/c of whatever color they are. I really get tired of hearing all the crap about someones skin color, makes me just want to slap people and kindly remind them what year they are in.

He's alright I guess, but i'm not a huge fan. Back when he was brand new, I liked him more.
He just doesn't seem to be as funny or clever anymore, and I think his writing is heading downhill. Either way, his newer stuff still isn't terrible. |

He's tolerable, but that's just about as far as i'm willing to go in praising him. He has still far outworn his welcome, and should seriously begin considering retirement.
He has run out of things to say, people to offend, so what else is there for him? He has been making the same record over and over for years, and it is really moldy now. |

Although I'm really a big fan of Eminem, I would have to agree that his later scores are much like just a repetition of his former albums. His glorious days have past and I guess he has to enjoy the profit he already have from the former albums. No need to keep up with the new kids in hip hop, he already have a name in this genre.

I love Eminem. I think he is even better than Tupac. If you ask me , I'd say Rock Bottom is his best album thus far- "I feel like I am walking a tight rope, without a circus net
I am popping percocets , I am a nervous wreck I deserve respect , but I work a sweat for this worthless check About to burst this tech, at somebody to reverse this debt " Your creation comes alive when you have lived it. |

His lyrical skills are still fairly sharp, but I don't know how much longer he'll be around. After being introduced to the world on the Slim Shady LP, and refining his style on Marshall Mathers LP, he has pretty much been staying the course.

Who doesn't love Eminem? I think he's a genius! I have been a great fan of him. Who'd ever forget Em and Dido on Stan, that's brilliant. I have watched his film 8mile for like 10 times already! lol
Loose yourself is my favorite song, the lyrics is just so profound and inspiring. |
