There will never be any true replacement for Vinyl.
At best, maybe something will come close. But look at how long Vinyl has been around? It's been apart of families for many generations, you can't just expect it to completely fade away so easily. |

All I can say is that I hope that it never truly goes out of style. It is my medium of choice, and I have records that are are much as 60 years old that I treasure.
There is nothing quite like it-the quality, the-and this might sound strange but I love the sound of the pops and crackles. I was sent some MP3s one time that were cut from vinyl-very old vinyl. The noise on it just enhanced it that little bit-takes me back to childhood. |

support vinyl!
i've been mixing with vinyl records for years. But sometimes i thought it is a bit tedious to buy them (not cheap), to get the records i want (many times the searched tracks are not available for some reason).
But since some months i changed a to digital (not completely, but mostly) but since some weeks i search for vinyl records again, because i think with vinyl my sets are just better. There is just more enthusiasm when mixing with vinyl on 2 turntables :-) another thing is the great sound quality with vinyl!! |
