ETRO ANIME'S CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED EUROPEAN ELECTRO-SOUL ALBUM, "SEE THE SOUND"
IS SET FOR RELEASE IN AMERICA, ON NEURODISC RECORDS IN FEB '04

Fort Lauderdale, FL - Etro Anime has revived the once purely European phenomenon
of atmospheric drum'n'bass and triphop, and brought it to America. Etro Anime is
an electro-soul/dance music quintet that mirrors the British sound cascades of
Dido, Kosheen and Everything But the Girl. Etro Anime's critically acclaimed
album "See The Sound", which was previously released in the Netherlands, has
been licensed to Florida based Neurodisc Records for US release in February
2004.

The producer driven group led by Ted Birkey and David Fisher, is comprised of a
drummer, bassist, trumpet/sax, and keyboards topped off by Havana-born vocalist,
Lissette Alea. The group had emigrated to Europe in search of fertile ground for
their music. While in Europe they produced an incomparable sound that stands out
against the current panorama of electro chill-out music. The contrast between
the crystalline vocals of Lisette Alea and the smoothly constructed groovy
bass-lines makes for a groundbreaking album.

According to John Wai, managing director at Neurodisc, "Etro Anime combines all
the elements of music, style, and persona necessary for elite status in the
fast-paced and highly volatile US marketplace."

The first single from 'See the Sound' is the beautiful 'Portrait', a sensuous
track that displays Lissette Alea's hypnotic voice.

Etro Anime has found their way back home and asks that America opens it's eyes
to "see the sound" of a revolutionary new style in dance/electronic music.
