Wax, CD, sampler & co. What do you use?

I was wondering about the usage of available dj-technologies worldwide.

I use turntables with external fx. Sometime this year I might just get me one of those fancy CD-players as well, just to get the hang of it. A sampler is on my wishlist too.

Me much the same - want want want but stuck with the wax for the mo.

Still using Vinyl only...but wouldn't mind using a CD player, if I'll ever get my hands on a couple of promo CDRs

Also like using some FX from my friend's DJM-600 from time to time, but not too much.

If I can get the legistics of doing DJ work sorted out, my intension is to use a laptop computer, with external MIDI controller, with external hard disk for music storage.

As for software... That is a big secret. Let us say it will be somewhat custom designed.
