Lately, I have been hearing much of her songs together with Akon, she have really rocked the charts. Her voice is so powerful, not only that she can sing very well, she's also very smart and had a very strong character, not your typical damsel-in-distress gal!

I think she is a good performer to start off with, even if I may not like all of the songs she has done. She has something about her that is attention grabbing, which for any artist is a well needed trait.

I haven't really heard all the songs of Fergie. But she has a very powerful voice. Maybe some of her songs may not sound so nice but with the way she performs she can make her audience scream when she dance.
Love her body also. |

Not a fan of Fergie at all, although I could still think of far worse.
I want nothing to do with modern pop or R&B or whatever they wanna call her music now. I'm better off just avoiding mainstream crap, and sticking with my trance albums. |

Well, mainstream is the 'in' thing because it caters to a large audience. It may not sound very pleasing but then, its radio-friendly and that matters to most people. But then there are people who dig a particular music because of their personal preference and taste. My brother loved death metal, although we don't mesh well with choice of music, I understand his thing and passion.
