Pub night at the college I went to. The Radio Station earned $300 for an evening of DJing and we got free drinks. Not too bad all in all, but not too stellar either. We got a couple more gigs from it for other college club events so it helped.

My first was at a college party , but I didn't get paid for it .It was a learning experience and I was interested in trying out my skills. All the djing I have done has been for fun or to assist my friends set up parties.I don't think I will qualify as a paid dj just yet. For that I'd need to get some good mixers like the professional Djs have.

My first job as a DJ was on my friends’ cousin debut party. I haven’t prepared for the event for they don't tell me earlier. It was just the day before that they told me that they want me to host for the party. I did well anyway and happy for that first hosting job.
