FS: Synths that stand out from the crowd

Moving & decided to downsize the studio & have the follow unique synths for
sale. Unless noted otherwise all are in excellent condition, come with
factory power supply, all manuals & ship in original box. Except for the
Wavestation I am the original owner & the equipment has been kept in my
smoke-free studio.

Some pictures can be seen at: www.soundforest.com\sale

Will ship only within the continental USA. Shipping will be UPS ground.
Payment: I will accept Cashier's Check, Money Order, PayPal or personal
check (personal check has to clear bank before item will ship)..

The review comments are from : http://www.harmony-central.com/Synth/

-----------------------------

Kawai K5000S: -- $600 + $40 (for shipping)

Includes the hard-to-find ME1 expansion card. (With the ME-1 you're getting
two additional storage banks, to the two the K5000s already has...) Great
stunning sounding additive synth, with arppegiator, lots of control knobs -
will consider part trade for Kawai K5000r.

".Expressiveness/Sounds: 10
This is the most difficult part of the review. The sounds are simply
incredible. This is as good as you can hope for from a synthesizer. Assuming
you use sparing amounts of the PCM waves and jump into the additive and
morph with both feet(feat), there are very few things the mind can imagine
that the unit can't deliver."
--------------------------------------------------
EMU Morpheus: $275 + $15 shipping

Probably the most distinctive sounding module of the EMU line. Many of the
Z-Plane filters are unique to it. Strange & wonderful

".Expressiveness/Sounds: 9
In a word, gorgeous. I got the Morph for its unsurpassed formant sounds, but
I've been delighted by a huge range of other first rate electro-oriented
sounds -- eternally-evolving pads and ambient soundscapes; good sync leads;
decent EPs and organs; absolutely fabulous techno bleeps, gurgles, hums and
snarls. And of course every single patch in this box includes filter sweeps
to die for."
--------------------------------------------------

Korg Wavestation SR $285 + $15 shipping

This comes with a rare "Ethnic" card set put out for the Korg 03R/W. The SR
will read the PCM sample card (but not the performance card), there by
extending the palette of sound possibilities.

"..Expressiveness/Sounds: 10
Its all a matter of taste, but I am in love with the wavestation sonic
pleasures. I dont listen to or use pre-sets. I mangle everything to its
fullest degree and make it my own. The sounds out of this beast are simply
other worldly. There is no other synth that comes close. This one is
unique."
---------------------------------------------------------

Emu Audity 2000: $315 + $15 shipping

The module has never been used. I bought it new just before the move.

"Expressiveness/Sounds: 10
well as i said , its firstly capable of all manner of multi lfo /
weirdness...but waht i really loved about this synth was its waveforms and
character....sems what you get with these emu racks is really a whole host
of excellent classic waveforms...i do electronica and olf lfo kind of stuff
plus plaid / black dog flavour stuff and this machines great for ideas and
flavour. All in all what you get with all the emu modules is really a great
sample set in a complex synthesiser.Ive used many many synths over the years
, many analogues but never found anything which pooled so many classic
waveofrms together......."
