I am on a mission to help those Burning Man camps that may not know how
to put together the sound system they need in order to have DJ's perform.

I'm putting out the call to anyone with working DJ equipment that they do
not use and to Burning Man club/bar camps that are in need of help.

We need the following:

DJ Mixers
DJ CD decks
PA Speaker Cabinets (small to medium size)
Stereo Power Amps or 'Practice' Powered PA Mixers
Small Subwoofer Speaker Cabinets
Speaker Cable Sets
Speaker Tripods
RCA cables
Matched Turntable Sets with cartridges and needles
Headphones
Mics with cables
XLR, Speakon and Banana ended cables

We will also distribute dance and drum & bass vinyl and CD's

Please only send reasonably working stuff not 'electric junk'. It need
not be pretty just fully functional.

Hi Mike, that's an interesting idea.
Sorry I don't have any spare equipment to give you (using all of mine)
but for DJ's who wish to spin in the desert I am running open decks in
my camp from 3-8 Monday-Saturday. Super Lucky Camp, Mercury between
7:00 and 7:30. We are open to all kinds of music but ideally not
"popular" music and no gangsta rap
