Halloween Mixes

Now that it is Halloween time, are you playing Halloween music? I personally am not. I find that it is way overrated, everyone does it.

Halloween music doesn't have to be typical Halloween music you know?

You could always play some Trance Mix, maybe throwing in the occasional horror samples?

There are so many different possibilities, and you don't need to pick the typical necessarily.

I know that Audiognomes had a few good Halloween themed mixes available for download if anyone is interested!

www.audiognomes.com

My favorite of the bunch would be the "Hallows Eve" mix which is just under 70 minutes long!

Also they just released a brand new Halloween mix called "Mega Mutant Pumpkin Patch Jam Band" which is about 71 minutes long. Those should do nicely!

Vlad, I think that would be a great idea. I get tired real easy of hearing the same thing over and over again. If I am out with my people and walk past a house that has spooky music mixed in with some trance, for sure I am stopping there, might even give them candy for the work they did!

I used to like to mix in some horror movie theme music, like Psycho for example. Something subtle but diffferent for the holiday. I used to borrow a track from a friend he mixed using clips from the charlie brown great pumpkin special too.

Speaking of Halloween, I really like to see the movie of Rob Zombie about Halloween. Well his music is one of my favorites to listen to.

And Vlad, could you please give us some good sample of Halloween music mixed with Trance.

Not sure if Vlad had something else in mind, but check out that Audiognomes site I linked to. There are some Halloween Trance mixes there, which blend in some Horror samples etc.

Thanks a lot for that site DarkPsy. That site also have a download section of full MP3 albums of DJ tracks. I would have music/remixes added to my collection.

This sounds like something I can surprise my family with. I will have to look at the site and get back with you to see what I can find out. I want to do a spooky house, its been a couple of years since we have had one, so I think this year I will get some people together from the center to help out. I love the idea of being able to spooky my grand kids, it just entertains me in my old age I guess.
