Question Help me get it started..

Hello guys,

Newbie forum, well, here I go. I feel dealing with music is exactly what I want to try with, but having no knowledge is an obstacle, obviously. I want to ask you for any software, which will help me develop my own beats and sounds.

I know that I’ve a long road to go, but please help me start.
Thank you in advance!

I would also like some help in this area. I would love to sit down and play around with some stuff that I have samples of. Can anyone suggest something that will work simple since I am new to all of this, I am running windows xp if that helps any.

That looks like some nice software - I'm downloading it now - hope it works with Vista!

I'm in a similar position - I've messed around with some stuff for parties / local charity events, but I want to start doing things properly.

Just start by observing the music. You should be fine and good luck.
