Hey Guys,

I have done a mix and encoded it into a .rm file, but I ned to be able
to stream it so people can listen to it. I got som,e free gosting from
ProHosting and uploaded the file to:
http://fire.prohosting.com/zasscar/monster.rm but you have to click a
link and i then just downloads and will not stream. Can someone please
pont me in the right direction?

You need a streaming service running on the server...

The following list provides examples of the kinds of locations you can
specify:

a.. mms://server/filename (for example, a file with a .wma, .wmv, .asf, or
..mp3 extension)
b.. mmst://server/filename
c.. mmsu://server/filename
d.. http://server/filename
e.. \\server\content\filename
f.. file://\\server\content\filename
g.. mms://server/sami.asf?SAMI=http://server/sami/sami_demo.smi
(Synchronized Accessible Media Interchange (SAMI) file)

You need to create a *.ram file and get the listeners to click that.

basically, use Notepad.
Open up a blank document - put the URL of your mix into it and save it as
monster.ram

put the monster.ram file on your webspace, and hyperlink it on your webpage.
This will stream the rm file into realplayer
