How good are your speakers?
Everyone has em, but not everyone has good ones. How good would you say yours are?
Unfortunately, I can't brag about mine much. Although they are far from terrible, they aren't exactly premium quality. They are relatively small, and the neon lights vibrate on them with the music. Paid like $20, and I feel it was worth it. |

Horrible. Lol. However, my headphones and mic, are outstanding. I paid quite a bit for the headset, because I just cannot stand having to lean over a mic on my desk. My speakers, are just the standard nonsense that came with my comp, and since I basically am just streaming files, it's other people's speakers that are the issue, not mine. Muahaha.

Mine is not too bad and not too good. As long as it produces the sounds that I am expecting then its ok with me already. But I really wanted a sound system that could vibrate the whole house when I turn the volume on. But I would not do that, I just want to feel like I am inside a theater house with my sound system.

Oooh, not me. I have my little tv, perfect for curling up on the couch and watching movies with. I don't like a lot of insane noise with my television. I think if the volume is lower, people watch and listen more closely. Hence; the lost art of movie appreciation. I have no actual external speakers other than those for my computer, and they work. They make sounds, pretty much. And thank goodness; the right ones. So far anyway. I may invest in a sub-woofer, at one point, but only for music's sake.

I'm not sure how to rate speakers or systems, but I have the Ozaki system that is this one. Cant remember which model that is though. They are fairly decent, I got them a couple of years back for about 200.00 I think.

I have okay speakers for my computer but I have very good speakers in my car. I listen to a lot of rock when I am driving .So I need some good speakers there. I just learned yesterday that you could convert your speakers into microphone and use it for recording purposes though the sound quality isn't going to be as good. I have a mic here ,but if I can , I am going to try and learn how to get my speakers to work as microphones.

I have been saving up for a better set of speakers for a while now. The ones I am using right now are more for fun, than actual sound quality. But i'll tell you, if I could find a higher quality set of speakers with the same features as this one...I would buy it in 2 seconds.

So since my post yesterday, I have begun researching various speaker systems. One in particular has caught my eye, and it's just over $100. Next time i'm on, i'll try to find the link again and post it in here.
Anyway, the value really surprised me. Hopefully it's as good as it looks! |

I think mine are decent, but here is a question for anyone that is car smart. Why is it that I have a car thats paid for and about 10 years old, with a factory stereo installed, that sounds better than newer cars? What is up with that. I am thinking if I am buying a new car, it needs to atleast sound as good as my decade old one!
Also, the two cars I am comparing to, both have factory/stock stereos in them, one car is a Buick, the other is a Pontiac (maybe that is the difference right there). |

My speakers are decent, like an $100 dollar set.
There's really no reason for me to upgrade anytime soon, but to each their own. Maybe if I strike it rich, I would buy some fancy speaker system, but I am comfortable enough with my current system. |
