JUNO RECORDS

I just recently ordered a vinyl as you do from Juno. Recieved the item very
promptly as always. I then notice that for the first minute of the record
the sound quality is not 'upto scratch' - No pun intended.

There is a kind of excessive 'crackly' noise present. Tried it on both my
decks to be sure it was the record and not anything else. I then call Juno
explain the problem and requested a returns number. I am then informed that
they WILL NOT replace the record, and explain that because I've had a number
of 'faulty' records they will not be replacing them anymore, but will
happily refund my money!?! Like it's my fault I've recieved some faulty
records!

What the hell are they playing at?! I must have purchased over a thousand
records from them over the past 3 years, and because out of that 1000 or so
there have been faulty ones, it's almost inevitable, they now refuse to
replace them!

I'm sorry to say I shant be using Juno anymore, I find this shocking
treatment from a company I thought cared about their customers and always
did their utmost to help and provide an excellent service - obviously I was
wrong!

Anybody know of any alternatives to Juno as in large numbers of back catalog
items (mainly Trance) at good prices? By this I don't mean Hard To Find.

Ta,

DJ Strut

Whilst I normally enjoy being rude for the hell of it this arsehole really
deserves the following reply.

Don't be an twat you muppet. JUNO sell records, they don't make them. The
blame for bad pressing and even mastering lies with the plant that made it
(or even the bootleging DJ's inability to pay to have it EQ'd and cut
properly)

Over the years had one or two bad bootlegs from them. Always more than
happily refunded me or changed it out. Compared to HTFR they are first
class. Never had an item that had been damged by them, lost in the mail from
them, or any trouble with them. They are world class.

Try buying the offending record elsewhere you will probably find that the
fault is accross the WHOLE pressing run (asuming that you did not fuck it
up yourself with a shot stanton or cheapo cart)

Vinyl - dangerous in the hands of idiots
