FIOS

Hi there;

I know a lot of people probably ask this, think this, or talk about doing
this but I'm looking for some help. A friend of mine is producing some
awesome House music. He's at the point where he needs to start purchasing
the samples and releasing. Now, he knows what he's doing as far as the
contacts and things like that, people he knows, licensing, all that fun
stuff. For some reason, he can't get anyone to speak to him when it comes
to actually purchasing the music. Now, I know him real well and whenever he
has a track that he wants the release (and there are at least 4 right now
that are awesome), he'll just throw cash down and get it done.

Does anyone have any advice or tips or anything that could help me get him
going on this?

Just release it. If successfull they will come to him.

So let me see if I have this straight. He has already done the music
and have had people listen to it but he's having problems getting them
to actually pay for it? Is that right?

How's the club scene in the area? Scouts from record companies are
always scouting the local club scene. Can he perform the music
somewhere? What about his computer - can he put some excerpts up on a
webpage or something?

and what is it that he really wants - is it to be signed as a singer
or performer or is it that he wants the songs to be bought?
