what do you wanna use em 4?
Pure Scratch n' Battle? (Vestaxxxxx!) Juggle/Mix, jockey at parties, and spend much money? (Technics!) Buy for any TT Ortofon Pickup Sytsems (Scratch/Nightclub/....)

I'd suggest to spend some time in a decent equipment-shop in your area. Techncis is still the classic, but there are other players queing up to kick it from the throne.

I think the Technics 1200s are always a safe bet but Vestax or Gemini are also good. I started out by buying an older but hardly used Technics 1200 MK2 secondhand off ebay that I used with my computer and a Technics SH-EX 1200 Mixer. I think I got mine for around AU$550 (not including the mixer). With one deck and a mixer combined with a computer or CDJ (or both) you can start to get the hang of the turntable.
That sort of set up could keep you busy for a while... until you feel the need for a second. Took me a year till my scratching and mixing were to a standard that warranted purchasing a second Technics (a new SL 1210 MK5).
