Newbie here, so be gentle, heh

Hi all, new to this "particular" group and the DJ'ing scene.
Just got a new setup, Kam BDX100's with a Gemini PS-626 Pro
and a ton of Vinyls, 50 quid the lot, which translates to about
100 dollars before ya start asking, lol

I noticed someone else asked in this group about the stickers
on records, which I have seen on a DMC vid, so I understand
the reason behind his very question, but I myself have a question.
I enjoyed the vid very much, but was curious as to how this
particular DJ who was scratching on his decks managed to
grab hold of the record and bend it to hold it while scratching.
Do they use records of a specially thinned vinyl or is it something
altogether different?

*sighs*......I "know" that it is a valid e-mail address, why do you think I
have it, and
where the hell do you think all the spam goes huh?
That is the whole point of it, and if you tried looking in alt.hacking, of
which
I am one of the many regs there, you would notice that I am not the only
one to use it.
Now any chance of someone answering my question without any more
bitching at things that ain't a problem ?

Your subject said - "Newbie here, so be gentle, heh" - and I gave
advice that a newbie should welcome, and I was gentle.

Fine, then be an asshole when good advice is offered to you - welcome
to my kill filter.

>where the hell do you think all the spam goes huh?

Certainly not to my address, and not to anyone else's valid email
address

Look very carefully at the name of the newsgroup. Does it say
alt.hacking?

Nope! It says alt.music.makers.dj.

>I am one of the many regs there, you would notice that I am not the only

What people do in that newsgroup has absolutely nothing to do do with
this newsgroup. Since you're so in love with it, then go ans ask your
question there.

>Now any chance of someone answering my question without any more
>bitching at things that ain't a problem ?

I could have answered your question accurately and comcisely, I'm sure
glad that I didn't.

Goodbye.
