No speaker sound from Numark DM3000x mixer
Hey,
Here's the thing. I'm totally new to the world of mixing. I've just bought 2x Numark TT1650 turntables and a Numark DM3000X mixer (2nd hand). I've connected the turntables up and can get sound through the headphones, but can't get any sound through the speakers. I also tried to use an amp (with the mixer) to no avail. Before trying with an amp... I plugged the turntables into the phono sockets on the mixer and speakers into the Master output, but still no sound from the speakers. I have also swapped the speaker cables around in a desperate attempt to get sound, but nothing (not even speaker hum). Using the amp with the mixer, I've plugged from line (mixer) into phono (amp), but also tried aux socket (amp), but still nothing. Please, please, please can anyone please shed some light on this very frustrating problem? Much thanks. |
