Re: PA advice

hi, the system is ok for small rooms only, pubs, possibly village hall etc,
but not much more, dont expect monster bass and crisp tops, it uses cheap
drivers.

i'll sell you one for £425 if you insist
https://vault1.secured-url.com/bk/sc...?idproduct=700

but first have a look at some of the systems at www.hkaudio.com , the
quality is top, certainly worth the extra money.

Re: PA advice

The big system (Lucas I think- I mix them up) has had both subs blow amps
( output transistors) .. Similarly he has lost power to the smaller system
by way of blow rail fuses on a couple of occasions now.

Its a real pain in the ass when your at a gig, then ringing friends to pick
up gear and run around trying to patch a system together. It happened as
recently as last Friday night. The venue was "not" impressed as you would
imagine.

Re: PA advice

If you good with electronics (hell just ok with it) you can* probly build a
nice system for that much money.. now i'm under the impression you dont have
an amp? welp if you look in The Musicians Friend they have some pretty
nice stuff in there for cheap..JBL EON 15 Powered for $399.. you cant beat
that price.. if you can swing it i would get a couple of EON 15 powered and
if you can swing a little more get a powered sub by: squire or someone of
the like to pack a little more lowend.. the eon's are pretty nice i was
running them then i got the Mackie SRM 450s and i'm a real happy dj.. these
speakers are really nice.. if you can reallllllyyyyy swing i would get
these.. little expensive though..
