Hi everyone!

I've always been playing from vinyl, but I'm thinking about adding two Pioneer CDJ to my regular gear now, and would like to ask you for your opinions on the CDJ 850 and CDJ 900.
I should add I am selecting reggae, funk and soul most of the time, so some features which are essential for electronic DJs might not for me.

The CDJ 900 got some nifty looking features, the new angled display looks massive and definitely appeals more to me than the flat 850.
But what about the other features of the 900 (quantize, slip mode)? It seems like I won't need many of those but I'm not so sure. Do they justify to pay
more and get the 900? (the new sound processor comes to my mind, anyone noticed a difference to the 850, like a more organic sound?)
I heard the CDJ 900 reads cds veeeery slow. Did Pioneer fix this in the meantime? Buyers also complained the 900 would be equally slow reading from large usb / hdd drives (4GB and more) and stutter from time to time.

What's good / bad about the CDJ 850?
Thinking in the long term, could you use the 850 as midi controller with, say, traktor?
I don't remember exactly, but can you confirm the 850 does not support full pitch range with mp3 cd, only when using audio cd.

Had you to choose one of the two, based on your preferences, which one would you buy? Why?
Any reggae/funk/soul DJs on this one? :)
