the series of Street Bootlegs, number 24 sees the blending of vocal and
instrumental elements of Tori Amos' "Professional Widow" with Heller &
Farley's classic "Ultra Flava". B-side is a pumpy house blending of The Fog
"Been A Long Time" vocal with Scott Grooves' "Mothership Connection" 11.49



Howard Jones "Just Look At Us Now 2004" White ENG 12 - circulating as
DTOVX011, two reworkings of the Howard Jones classic are provided with DBA
providing a summery full original vocal house interpretation and Young Punx
with another smooth summery reinterpretation. 10.99



Lenny Kravitz "Are You Going My Way" (Illicit Mix) White ENG 12 - Pumpy
house reworking reportedly by Illicit that samples and manipulates the
Kravitz vocal with a driving instrumental production. 10.99



Pet Shop Boys "West End Girls 2004" - circulating as Paid Show Boys, this is
a funky early-80s styled reworking of the classic with an electro-tinged
house reworking that drops into the full original vocal. 10.99

GS, this blends vocal elements of Soulsearcher's "Feel Alive" with Michelle
Weeks' "The Light" over a funky, summery house production that lets both

Tony Toni Tone "Feels Good 2004" White USA 12 - funky house reworkings by
the Floorfillerz of this late-80s radio hit with the soulful original vocals

Aquaculture "Panic Stations" Forensic ENG 12 - bigroom tribal houser with a
catchy telephone sample in the breakdown that leads to sharp, aggressive

Luca Cassani vs Simpson Tune "Bring It Down 2004" Vendetta SPA 12 - New 2004
remixes of this classic hands-in-the-air vocal house stomper features a
reworked interpretation by Luca Cassani that adds a pumpier, slightly
techier edge to the production while BMR preserves the funky feel of the
original while thickening the synth lines. 10.49



Cherie "I'm Ready" Lava USA 12 and C5 - Bigroom vocal house monster gets
commercial release in time for its top-20 debut on the Billboard Club Play
Chart. Mixes come from Mike Rizzo, Dave Aude, the Drummers and Silent Nick
and all work well with the bubbly singalong vocals. Solid summertime
commercial production. 6.79 for the 12", 7.79 for the CD-Maxi.



Christian Hordostein "Movin Up" White ITA 12 - Funky underground houser with
catchy female vocal over a chunky rhythm line and disco-tinged house synth
orchestration, perfect for smaller rooms or floors of the classic house
sound. Includes a pumpier tribal mix and dub on the flip with a riot of
congas ablaze. 10.49



Deep Swing f/Jay Gee "Get Ready" Generate USA 12 - Solid vocal house
production for the more intimate rooms with seductive soulful male vocal
over a funky house synth orchestration and shuffly rhythm lines. Includes a
remix by Eddie Amador (in his Mochico guise) that adds a bit more of a punch
to the rhythm lines while keeping the vocal the star of the prduciton. 6.79



Elya "Summer Love" Paradise FRA 12 - Paradise returns with a warm summery
slice of Mediterranean vocal house feratuing a seductive female vocal over a
disco-tinged orchestration. Remixes come from David Vendetta in a slightly
Spanish tribal direction and a massive bigroom tribal reworking by Fred

Georgie Porgie "Life Goes On 2004" Vinyl Soul USA 12 - Georgie's classic
vocal house track gets new 2004 reworkings from Jesse Martinez and Terry
Hunter that keep the same positive upbeat spirit of Georgie's vocals with
solid, bouncy disco-tinged house production. 6.79



Paul Jackson "Blockbuster" Underwater ENG 12 - After the massive success of
"The Push" Paul Jackson returns with this spacious, somewhat acidic tech
house production that leans towards the progressive end of the spectrum with
a touch of dark quirkiness that is a hallmark of Jackson's production.

Frankie Knuckles "Back N Da Day" Defnitiy USA 12 - One of the true legends
of house music back on was with this funky house cut featuring pumpy rhythm

Matt's Track "I Don't Know" MCM ITA 12 - A classic from the Supremes forms
the vocal base for this driving bigroom house production with a thumping
tribal rhythm line and hooky, slightly discofied synthwork that fits the

NuLid "Konga EP" Netswork ITA 12 - A hypnotic latin tribal production with
catchy Spanish-language vocals over driving rhythm lines and mesmerizing

PCB "Garbage Queen" Mantra ITA 12 - Andrea Dorea on the remix for this

Praise Cats "Shined On Me 2004" PIAS ENG 12 - One of the classic vocal house
productions of the last few years gets a facelift by Skylark for 2004 as a
techier, punchier synth and rhythm orchestration is provided to support the
famous vocal lines. Includes both vocal and dub versions. 10.49



Eric Prydz "Slammin" Egoiste GER 12 - One of the masters of tech house back
with this hooky summertime production that features an insanely catchy
female vocal hook worked into the pumping rhythm lines and tech synth rolls.
On the flip Axwell provides a funkier reworking fueled by a hooky saxophone
sample and catchy rhythm lines. 10.49



D Ramirez "Are You Ready" Whoop ENG 12 - Another dark, driving tech house
monster from the master of the genre as spoken male vocal hooks of the title
are worked into a pumping blend of aggressive synth lines and hard-hitting
rhythms. On the flip is a breakbeat reworking. 10.49



Redanka "In A State" RIP ENG 12 - A guitar heavy tech house production
featuring a punkish male vocal over a driving rhythm line and an acidic
synth orchestration. Think a harsher, brasher Planet Funk in sound and

Room 5 "U Got Me" Noise BNX 12 Part 2 - Finally out the second set of mixes
of this driving house production that puts a seductive female vocal over the
classic Studio 54 track "Freakin'" Remixes come from Junior Jack, Richard
Grey and Steve Angello and range from funky and disco tinged to dark and

Seven City f/Donna McKray "Slip Away" Milk N 2 Sugars ENG 12 - Gorgeous
deeper vocal house production with seductive female vocals over a smooth,
shuffly rhythm line and dreamy discofied house orchestrations perfect for
the smaller rooms Includes solid remixes from John Julius Knight on the flip

Bob Sinclar "2004 Remixes" Yellow FRA 12 Part 1 and Part 2 - Selection of
remixes from some of the biggest names at the Subliminal label of some of
Mr. Sinclar's biggest singles. Disc 1 features a solid reworking by Harry
Romero of "I Feel For You" as well as a new mix of "Freedom" while disc 2
features Jose Nunez' remix of "Life" and a joint collaboration by Morillo,
Romero and Nunez on "My Only Love" that fans of the Subliminal house sound

Solar vs Audiofly "Live Love" Fantastic House ENG 12 - Solid house
production with remixes from Lee Cabrera and Audiofly that add extra layers
of punch to the gutsy diva vocal performance at the heart of the track.
Cabrera's mix adds a tougher, rougher synth line while Audiofly go for a
slightly tribal infused interpretation. 10.49



Soundplane "Gasoline" Dee-P-Erfect ITA 12 - Dark, driving tribal house
production from Italy with punchy conga lines melding with deep, aggressive
house synth lines and growling spoken male vocals for the perfect bigroom
production. 10.49



Britney Spears "Everytime" Jive GER C5 - The followup to the massive "Toxic"
is now here with the full Scumfrog Remix (almost 10 mins long) provided. A
deeper, hypnotic production that works well with the delicate feel of the
original vocal, this will likely zoom up the charts at warp speed. Also
includes a radio edit of Above & Beyond's trance mix. 10.79



Starfreakin "Just Play The Music" Escape FRA 12 - French tech house that
makes use of some very effective samples from that 60s icon, "Star Trek"
worked into the pumpy rhythm and aggressive synth orchestrations that are
also complemented with some funky vocal hooks to boot. 10.49



Thick Lips "A Better Love" White FRA 12 - Funky house production with a
dark, seductive vocal worked into a deeper synth orchestration and smooth,
flowing rhythm lines. Excellent early night track with the remix by Body
Talk on the flip giving the track a techier edge. 10.49



Tools 7 "No Answer" Garbage FRA 12 - Rick Pier O'Neil's Garbage label with
another tech-tribal production featuring driving rhythm lines, aggressive
dark synth loops hooky vocal samples. The RPO2 Mix adds an additional
spacious progressive house element to the production. 10.49



Trance & Progressive



Agent 001 "Stinger" Opek USA 12 - Steve Porter on the production for this
lush, expansive progressive house creation with floating synth lines and
smooth, flowing rhythm lines. 6.79



4 Strings "Turn It Around" Ultra USA 12 - Not yet released in Europe, Ultra
gets the honor of debuting this latest 4 Strings single and it is stunning,
with a darker, punchier feel to the synthwork pairing beautifully with the
female vocal hooks, a blend of traditional Dutch melodic bliss with the
heavier, more energetic rhythm lines that are becoming the standard of Dutch
production today. Excellent release. 6.79



Castaneda "Floor Control" Vandit GER 12 - latest release from Paul van Dyk's
Vandit label is another gorgeous melodic instrumental production originally
released in the UK late last year. Smooth, flowing intricate melodic
orchestrations over smooth steady rhythm lines and dramatic breakdowns.
Remix comes form John Askew who gives the track a deeper, more ethereal
feel. 10.49



Crystal "In The End" Dance Factory ITA 12 - excellent commercial vocal
trance cover of the Linkin Park track that transforms the song from a rock
standard into a passionate, uplifting dancefloor producton. Three mixes
included. 10.49



Inkfish vs David West "Aftermath" Sog ENG 12 - Excellent trance-progressive
hybrid production with dark, hypnotic melodic orchestrations over a driving
rhythm line and dramatic breakdown. Includes a darker, more purely
progressive reworking from Mercurio on the flip. 10.49



Joujouka "Box Rocker EP" Madskippers GER 12 - Punchy, tech-tinged German
hard-dance productions with driving rhythm lines and aggressive synth
orchestrations paired with hooky vocal samples worked into the production.
This EP also feautes a Piliavin & Zimbardo reworking of "Geo Cash" in their
dark, brooding deep progressive house style. 10.49



Kane "Rain Down On Me" BMG BNX 12 - Tiesto on the mix creating a dark,
driving tech-tinged trance instrumentation that works well with the catchy
male vocals. Includes an instrumental version on the flip for those who
prefer their trance in a purely instrumental form. 10.49



Steve Lawler "Lost" Subversive ENG 12 - One of the masters of the dark
progressive scene with this pumpy, slightly acidic production featuring

release on Incentive sees the Lost Brothers provide a solid bigroom trance

Madoka "Distant Memories" Private Reality ENG 12 - A hypnotic blend of
smooth, lush melodic synthlines, dark flowing rhyhms and hypnotic vocal
samples blended into an ethereal progressive masterpiece. On the flip
Matthew Dekay minimizes the melodic element of the production, giving the
track an even deeper, mesmerizing feel accented by a hooky synth xylophone

with haunting synth constructions, steady energetic rhythm lines and hooky

exotic, almost Indian touch with the shuffly rhythm lines and floating synth
orchestration that pairs well with the ethereal vocal chant. 6.79



Organ Donors "Rhythms Divine" Nukleuz ENG 12 - Back again to blow the roof
off this time Organ Donors go for the jugular with two hard-hitting
production, one with a solid bigroom melodic trance edge, the other a
darker, techier punch, both featuring a hooky female vocal worked into the

Signum f/Anita Kelsey "Come Around Again" A State Of Trance BNX 12 -
Gorgeous female vocals paired with angelic melodic constructions in this
latest single from the solid State Of Trance as Signum caresses Anita's
vocal with flowing melodies, cascading breakdowns and smooth, steady rhythm

Starsplash "Can You Kick It" Kontor GER 12 - With Euro 2004 set to start in
Portugal in a month or so and the Olympics fast approaching the time to
rally the fans is approaching and Starsplash provide the anthem to get the
Germans in high gear with bouncy hard-hitting teutonic melodies, pounding
rhythm lines and a hooky male vocal and crowd chant. Very fun bigroom
production with two mixes, one with more vocal and one with less. 10.49
