Christian Hordostein "Movin Up" White ITA 12 - Funky underground houser with catchy female vocal over a chunky rhythm line and disco-tinged house synth orchestration, perfect for smaller rooms or floors of the classic house sound. Includes a pumpier tribal mix and dub on the flip with a riot of congas ablaze. 10.49 Deep Swing f/Jay Gee "Get Ready" Generate USA 12 - Solid vocal house production for the more intimate rooms with seductive soulful male vocal over a funky house synth orchestration and shuffly rhythm lines. Includes a remix by Eddie Amador (in his Mochico guise) that adds a bit more of a punch to the rhythm lines while keeping the vocal the star of the prduciton. 6.79 Elya "Summer Love" Paradise FRA 12 - Paradise returns with a warm summery slice of Mediterranean vocal house feratuing a seductive female vocal over a disco-tinged orchestration. Remixes come from David Vendetta in a slightly Spanish tribal direction and a massive bigroom tribal reworking by Fred Pellichero. Excellent release for the fans of vocal house. 10.49 Georgie Porgie "Life Goes On 2004" Vinyl Soul USA 12 - Georgie's classic vocal house track gets new 2004 reworkings from Jesse Martinez and Terry Hunter that keep the same positive upbeat spirit of Georgie's vocals with solid, bouncy disco-tinged house production. 6.79 Paul Jackson "Blockbuster" Underwater ENG 12 - After the massive success of "The Push" Paul Jackson returns with this spacious, somewhat acidic tech house production that leans towards the progressive end of the spectrum with a touch of dark quirkiness that is a hallmark of Jackson's production. 10.49 Frankie Knuckles "Back N Da Day" Defnitiy USA 12 - One of the true legends of house music back on was with this funky house cut featuring pumpy rhythm lines, funky synth hooks and a catchy, breathy vocal hook of the title worked into the blend. Includes both vocal and dub versions. 10.49 Eric Prydz "Slammin" Egoiste GER 12 - One of the masters of tech house back with this hooky summertime production that features an insanely catchy female vocal hook worked into the pumping rhythm lines and tech synth rolls. Think a harsher, brasher Planet Funk in sound and includes both full vocal and dub versions. 10.49 Room 5 "U Got Me" Noise BNX 12 Part 2 - Finally out the second set of mixes of this driving house production that puts a seductive female vocal over the classic Studio 54 track "Freakin'" Remixes come from Junior Jack, Richard Grey and Steve Angello and range from funky and disco tinged to dark and techy. 10.49 Seven City f/Donna McKray "Slip Away" Milk N 2 Sugars ENG 12 - Gorgeous deeper vocal house production with seductive female vocals over a smooth, shuffly rhythm line and dreamy discofied house orchestrations perfect for the smaller rooms Includes solid remixes from John Julius Knight on the flip with a brigher feel featuring a smooth brass sample. 10.49 Bob Sinclar "2004 Remixes" Yellow FRA 12 Part 1 and Part 2 - Selection of remixes from some of the biggest names at the Subliminal label of some of Mr. Sinclar's biggest singles. Disc 1 features a solid reworking by Harry Romero of "I Feel For You" as well as a new mix of "Freedom" while disc 2 features Jose Nunez' remix of "Life" and a joint collaboration by Morillo, Romero and Nunez on "My Only Love" that fans of the Subliminal house sound should love. 10.49 each part Solar vs Audiofly "Live Love" Fantastic House ENG 12 - Solid house production with remixes from Lee Cabrera and Audiofly that add extra layers of punch to the gutsy diva vocal performance at the heart of the track. Cabrera's mix adds a tougher, rougher synth line while Audiofly go for a slightly tribal infused interpretation. 10.49 Soundplane "Gasoline" Dee-P-Erfect ITA 12 - Dark, driving tribal house production from Italy with punchy conga lines melding with deep, aggressive house synth lines and growling spoken male vocals for the perfect bigroom production. 10.49 Britney Spears "Everytime" Jive GER C5 - The followup to the massive "Toxic" is now here with the full Scumfrog Remix (almost 10 mins long) provided. A deeper, hypnotic production that works well with the delicate feel of the original vocal, this will likely zoom up the charts at warp speed. Also includes a radio edit of Above & Beyond's trance mix. 10.79 Starfreakin "Just Play The Music" Escape FRA 12 - French tech house that makes use of some very effective samples from that 60s icon, "Star Trek" worked into the pumpy rhythm and aggressive synth orchestrations that are also complemented with some funky vocal hooks to boot. 10.49 Thick Lips "A Better Love" White FRA 12 - Funky house production with a dark, seductive vocal worked into a deeper synth orchestration and smooth, flowing rhythm lines. Excellent early night track with the remix by Body Talk on the flip giving the track a techier edge. 10.49 Tools 7 "No Answer" Garbage FRA 12 - Rick Pier O'Neil's Garbage label with another tech-tribal production featuring driving rhythm lines, aggressive dark synth loops hooky vocal samples. The RPO2 Mix adds an additional spacious progressive house element to the production. 10.49 Trance & Progressive Agent 001 "Stinger" Opek USA 12 - Steve Porter on the production for this lush, expansive progressive house creation with floating synth lines and smooth, flowing rhythm lines. 6.79 4 Strings "Turn It Around" Ultra USA 12 - Not yet released in Europe, Ultra gets the honor of debuting this latest 4 Strings single and it is stunning, with a darker, punchier feel to the synthwork pairing beautifully with the female vocal hooks, a blend of traditional Dutch melodic bliss with the heavier, more energetic rhythm lines that are becoming the standard of Dutch production today. Excellent release. 6.79 Castaneda "Floor Control" Vandit GER 12 - latest release from Paul van Dyk's Vandit label is another gorgeous melodic instrumental production originally released in the UK late last year. Smooth, flowing intricate melodic orchestrations over smooth steady rhythm lines and dramatic breakdowns. Remix comes form John Askew who gives the track a deeper, more ethereal feel. 10.49 Crystal "In The End" Dance Factory ITA 12 - excellent commercial vocal trance cover of the Linkin Park track that transforms the song from a rock standard into a passionate, uplifting dancefloor producton. Three mixes included. 10.49 Inkfish vs David West "Aftermath" Sog ENG 12 - Excellent trance-progressive hybrid production with dark, hypnotic melodic orchestrations over a driving rhythm line and dramatic breakdown. Includes a darker, more purely progressive reworking from Mercurio on the flip. 10.49 Joujouka "Box Rocker EP" Madskippers GER 12 - Punchy, tech-tinged German hard-dance productions with driving rhythm lines and aggressive synth orchestrations paired with hooky vocal samples worked into the production. This EP also feautes a Piliavin & Zimbardo reworking of "Geo Cash" in their dark, brooding deep progressive house style. 10.49 Kane "Rain Down On Me" BMG BNX 12 - Tiesto on the mix creating a dark, driving tech-tinged trance instrumentation that works well with the catchy male vocals.
