Records, Columbus OH USA, for the week of 22-28 September 2003. All titles

Depeche Mode vs Giorgio Moroder "Stipped Down To The Chase" White ENG 12 -
Bootleg that mashes DM's "Stripped" with Moroder's classic "The Chase".

Whitney Houston "Fine 2003" White ENG 12 - Originally released in 2000,
"Fine" gets the discofied big room house treatment from Junior Jack in this
very limited edition bootleg. Full vocal supported by a solid, energetic
mid-120s BPM rhythm line and lots of funky disco synth instrumentation. On
the flip is a deeper, darker reworking (sounds like it could be Scumfrog,
though no mixer is credited) that uses much of the vocal in the breakdown
and surrounds it with an edgier house synth line and solid rhythms. Limited
edition, price is $10.49

Steve Miller Band "Abbacadabra 2003" White USA 12 - two mixes by Rise Ashen
and Trevor Walker of this 80s classic which puts the track in a solid house
production with much of the original vocal and chorus used to full effect.

Sean Paul "Gimme The Light" White USA 12 - funky house remix by Rise Ashen
of this big urban hit. Includes a drum & bass remix on the flipside. US$6.99

Prince "Sexy Dancer 2003" White ENG 12 - funky underground house
interpretation of one of the tracks from the Purple One. Lots of vocal hooks
and samples worked into the production. US$9.99

*180161 Tweet vs Blondie "Boogie 2 Rapture" White ENG 12 - New bootleg remix
reportedly by D-Bop that, according to the distributors, fuses Tweet's
vocals to the instrumentation from Blondie "Rapture." US$9.99

Yaz "Don't Go 2003" White ENG 12 - two solid, energetic house reworkings by
Gene Carbonell and Metafakt of this classic New Wave track that chops up and
warps the original vocal into driving, energetic house productions that
still preserve the original identity of the track. US$9.99

A&P Project "Sunrise" Nero GER 12 - gorgeous female vocal house track with
solid rhythm line, disco-influence house synth orchestration, and a
wonderful sunny feel to the production. Includes a remix by Soul Providers
on the flip. US$9.99

The Beginnerz "Everybody Knows" Wax Habit ITA 12 - the creators of "Reckless
Girl" return with another solid house production that features a jazz-styled
female vocal (sounds a bit like Shirley Bassey) over a solid mix of
infectious rhythm lines and funky, hands in the air house synthwork with
more than a little funk to the production. US$9.99

Bionix "Down Down Down" Neon ENG 12 - Full Intention behind the production
on this solid house production that features driving rhythm lines, edgy
house synth lines and manipulated vocal hooks worked into the production -
US$9.99

Mary J Blige "Love @ 1st Sight" Universal ENG 12 - solid house remix by
Kurtis Mantronix (of "77 Strings" fame) on the latest single from one of the
big names in contemporary R&B. This mix has Mantronix going a bit less disco
house and a bit more bigroom as he gives Mary's full vocals a solid house
production with driving rhythm lines and energetic house synthwork. US$9.99

Blondie "Good Boys" Sony GER C5 - First single from the upcoming album for
this veteran band features a retro-infused house mix from Giorgio Moroder
and an electro-influenced remix from Scissor Sister. US$10.79

Dark Suite "Dark Suite Piano" Illustrious ENG 12 - limited promo copies
featuring remixes by two of the biggest house producers from Spain, Dr Kucho
and Wally Lopez. Much lusher than their typical work, these feature a
stunning vocal chant paired with gorgeous guitar samples and solid, slightly
tribalized rhythm lines. US$9.99

DJ Gregory "Elle" Defected ENG 12 Part 1, Part 2 and C5 - One of the big
tracks in Ibiza this summer gets the full release from Defected. The
original is the classic Balearic style house track with smooth rhythms,
light, breezy house synthwork with a disco edge and a breezy vocal. Disc 1
also features a solid remix by Copyright while disc 2 features a deeper
reworking by Louis Vega and the B-side track "Eol Ritual" The CD features
all mixes of "Elle" plus all the mixes of "Tropical Sunclash" previously
unavailable on CD - US$9.99 each format/part.

Gloria Estefan "Wrapped" Sony GER C5 - Includes the full club mixes from
Tracy Young (a full on bigroom house mix c. 128 BPM with full vocal) and
Pablo Flores (a mid-120s Latin House interpretation with lots of guitar) as
well as the Salsa mix of "Hoy". Vinyl hopefull in soon, C5 only for now.

Aretha Franklin "The Only Thing Missing" Atlantic USA 12 - The first lady of
soul returns for the new millennium with a solid vocal performoance aptly
supported by smooth house remixes from Blaze and Furilla. Already climbing
the Billboard Club Play Charts. US$6.79

Full Intention "Forever" Forever ENG 12 - vocal samples of Michael Jackson's
"Rock Wit You" are used brilliantly by the Full Intention crew on this
monster of a house track with solid rhythm lines and a disco-influenced
melody that is the trademark of Full Intention's production style. US$9.99

Giddy Aunt "Inch By Inch" White ENG 12 - ATFC providing the hard hitting
tribal-meets-tech house production with lots of dark, aggressive houses
synth, solid driving rhythm lines and a seductive male vocal about "giving

Groove Junkies f/Indeya "Oh Lord" Morehouse USA 12 - A smooth, funky
underground houser with a disco-tinged synth production, warm shuffly beats

Holy Ghost "Superman" Netswork ITA 12 Part 2 - New set of roof-raising
Italian house remixes with a full-powered diva vocal supported by driving
rhythm lines and a piano-infused house synth production that all combine to
produce a highly infectious production that will get the hands in the air

Maxine Iniss "I Appreciate" Jellybean USA 12 - smooth, silky underground
houser with shuffling rhythm lines, warm slightly discofied house synthwork
and a luscious, seductive female vocal. Includes a Big Bass remix on the

Linus Loves "Stand Back" Data ENG 12 Part 1 and Part 2 - originally
circulating as a bootleg that used the instrumental of the Fleetwood Mac
classic, this has now been picked up by Data for full commercial release
with disc 1 featuring the orginal bootleg as well as a new vocal cover
version, while disc two features remixes from Archigram and Mylos that takes
the instrumental into a deeper, funkier level. US$9.99

Ricky Martin "Juramento (The Way To Love)" Sony GER C5 - the follow-up to
"Jaleo" is now out and this time it is Pablo Flores on the remix with the
vocals in a mix of English and Spanish, lots of latin house synthwork and

Lisa Millett "Closer" Look At You USA 12 - The Pound Boys at the controls
for this new single from the ATFC vocalist with a smooth underground
production featuring shuffly rhythm lines, slightly discofied house
synthwork and a funky trumpet hook all supporting Lisa's luscious vocals.

Mochico f/Miss Aubrey "Mochico D" Mochico USA 12 - Eddie Amador with a dark,
hypnotic trbial-infused house production that features a seductive female
vocal worked into the mix. Also includes a dub for those not fond of vocals.

Morjac "Stars" Credence ENG 12 Part 2 and C5 - Blistering new remixes by Lee
Cabrera and Tony Senghore of this latest release from Credence that features
a solid inspirational male vocal. Lee Cabrera give their trademark
tribal-tinged production to the track while Tony goes for a funkier, more
underground vibe. The C5 features the sold disco-house infused original mix
