this time Luke Chable & Chris Garnier combine to provide a dark, spacious
progressive house interpretation to the Icelandic singer's haunting vocal

Blades & Pearce "Into The Music 2004" White ENG 12 - Dark, energetic
reworking of this early 90s vocal house track with a punchy rhythm line and
spacious synths that break to a flowing, cavernous dropout before building
back to the punchy orchestration. Includes the original 1993 version on the

Busta Rhymes vs Mr Oizo "My Flat's On Fire" White ENG 12 - bootleg that
blends the rap vocal of "My Ass Is On Fire" into the instrumental of the
classic "Flat Beat". Circulates as Popular Peoples Front "My Flat's On
Fire." 10.99

Duran Duran "Girls On Film 2004" White ENG 12 - From the SFB crew who have
done those reworks of REM's "Losing My Religion" and The Cure's "In Between
Days" comes their take on the Duran Duran classic. A funky house reworking
with elements of the vocal and chorus worked in. 11.99

Funky Green Dogs vs The Ones "Reach For The Flawless" White ENG 12 - Vocals
from Funky Green Dogs integrated into the discofied instrumental line of The
Ones. B-side is a bootleg reworking that blends Murk "Dark Drums" Rolando
"Rolando's Revenge". 10.99

Happy Clappers vs Gusto "Believe Disco's Revenge" White ENG 12 - take the
Happy Clappers vocal hook and work it into the classic mid-90s house
instrumental by Gusto. Circulates as Believe1. 10.99

Brian McKnight "If Ever I Fall In Love" White USA 12 - Low-120s BPM house
reworking by Shai that circulates as Joshua "Too Shai" with Mr McKnight's
original soulful R&B vocal worked over a smooth blend of shuffly rhythm
lines and light, funky house synths. Includes a dub version on the flip.

Prince "I Wanna Be Your Lover 2004" White ENG 12 - not much info on this one
at the moment, just that there is a new house reworking of this Prince

Diana Ross "I'm Coming Out 2004" White ENG 12 - circulating as STP003, this
is a funky, loungy production by Shorty The pimp tha loops the "I'm Coming"
hook from Ms. Ross' classic and integrates it into a funky smooth house
production. Not very vocal but a nice groove-filled production. 10.99

SOS Band "Just Be Good To Me 2004" White ENG 12 - Breakbeat Reworking
circulating as Boots International "Dub Be Bad". 11.49

Superchumbo vs Kylie Minogue "This Beat Is Slow" White ENG 12 - circulating
as Greek Salad "All Over My Body," this takes the male spoken vocal of
Superchumbo's "This Beat Is" and the "Body Language" hook from Kylie and
works it over a squelchy, funky upper 120s-BPM house groove. 10.99

Usher "Yeah" White GER 12 - Bootleg remix from Germany of the biggest radio
song out there. Circulates as DO009, this is AC Lyte with the remix that
uses the original Usher vocals and integrates it into a funky mid-120s house
orchestration. 2 mixes, one with the full vocal, the other as a dub. 12.99

White Stripes "7 Nation Army" White ENG 12 - yes another bootleg and this
time the mix is by UK funky house guru Tim Deluxe who gives his own unique
spin using the original vocal and instrumental hooks of the track. Mid-120s
BPM rework. 10.99

Jose Aguilera "Tribaleo" Tribal Spain SPA 12 - a funky tribal track from
Spain with catchy saxophone lines and warped Spanish vocal hooks worked into
the production. 10.49

Altar "Sexercise" Sheeva USA 12 - A hooky bigroom house cut with
innuendo-filled female spoken vocals in both English and Italian, sexual
moans and driving rhythms that will get the hands in the air. 6.79

Pino Arduini f/Dawn Tallman "Jumpin" Swing City ENG 12 Promo - The
inspirational voice of Ms Tallman provides more than enough energy in itself
for this solid garage vocal production, with Grant Nelson providing a light,
shuffly orchestration that gives the vocal plenty of center-stage focus
while the Deep Brothers give a smoother, smokier interpretation with a nice
piano line to support the vocal. 10.99

Cirez D "Diamond Girl" Escape FRA 12 - Hypnotic techhouse monster from
France with a breathy female vocal over a pumping blend of hard hitting
synthwork, driving rhythm lines and massive buildups. On the flip DJ Flex
adds his own special octane to the fire with an excellent remix that works
in an air raid siren to brilliant effect. 10.49

Colours f/Domino "Hold Me & Kiss Me" Train ITA 12 Promo - Summer on the way
and the lighter, breezier vocal house productions start coming thick and
fast and this one is a stand out, with a gorgeous Moony-like female vocal
over a shuffly, breezy blend of smooth rhythms and melodic house synths and
live instrumentation. 10.99

DJ Pirra "Tribal Path" Voice Of Underground ITA 12 - Hard-hitting techy
tribal monster from Italy with growling male spoken vocals worked into the
driving rhythmic production. Check out the Adam Freeman mix for a seductive,
progressive-tinges interpretation that gives the track a sexy, chuggy feel.

Juicy USA imprint, this is funky tech house with an explicit spoken male

JJ Flores & Steve Smooth "Discoteca" Moody USA 12 - pumpy tech house with a

Funkstar Deluxe "Itch It Up" Choice House FRA 12 - Punchy, funky tech house
with a hooky synthesized vocal sample worked over a pumpu blend of driving
rhythm lines and chunky, gritty house synths paired with a funky guitar
hook. On the flip Silver Cat goes for a more synth-heavy orchestration with
lines that will shake the walls and a dramtic breakdown that builds to a
major climax with a slight Benassi feel. 10.49

GTS "Electrify" Nite Grooves USA 12 - big Billboard club chart track now
commercially released with mixes from Trendroid for the dark tribal-prog
sets and Robbie Rivera mixes for the techier, pumpier rooms. 6.79

Seamus Haji "Get This! Party People" Big Love ENG 12 - Funky, hooky
retro-70s flavoured house with catchy male vocals, a solid blend of house
synth and live instrumentation (including a catchy trumpet line) and solid
rhythms. Very infectious production for those rooms that like a bit of the
70s worked into their night. 10.49

Danny Howell & Dick Trevor "Dusk Till Dawn" Yoshitoshi USA 2x12 - latest
release sees Yoshitoshi shifting to funky deeper house with a beautiful
female vocal in the Club mix supported by smooth rhythm lines and shuffly
house melodied. Fans of a more progressive sound should check out the 16B
Dub. 11.49

Master H f/Louise Marshall "Don't Stop" Soma ENG 12 - Dark, smoky seductive
house production with a totally enchanting female vocal that gives the
production the punch and energy to get the floor jumping. On the flip, H
Foundation provide a deeper, smoother interpretation that dubs out the
vocal. 10.49

Andrea T Mendoza "Respect To The Elements" Train ITA 12 Promo - Hard-hitting
tribal production from Italy with a haunting male vocal supported by four
different tribal constructions, each one focusing on distinct rhythm
patterns that will work the floor like mad. 10.99

Christina Milian "Dip It Low" Island USA 2x12 - New single from the R&B
singer whose 2000 hit "AM to PM" was a major club sensation in remix form.
Mixes on this new single come from Full Intention (in their trademark
disco-tinged bigroom style), JJ Flores (in a funky low 120s-BPM hip-house
style) and Tyas & Lawrence who create a punchy, techy bigroom house dub
interpretation. 10.49

Lionel Richie "Just For You" Island USA 2x12 - Latest single from the
veteran vocalist features solid house remixes from the Pound Boys that are
perfect for the smaller, more intimate and classy floors, a more energetic
reworking by Metro for the bigger rooms, and a solid dub reworking by the
legendary Todd Terry. Lionel's vocals are excellent and the song itself very

Jerry Ropero & Denis The Menace p/Avalanche "Everybody Sing" Royal Flush FRA
12 - French label on a tear with this pumpy Junior Jack styled bigroom tech
house monster with a hooky male vocal over driving, energetic rhythm lines
and punchy house snth work. Includes solid remixes by Denis The Menace and
Clubworxx, this is hands-in the air bigroom house of the first degree. 10.49

Royal Gigolos "California Dreaming" Free For All BNX 12 - A massive
reworking of the Mamas & Papas classic with original vocals in a Boogie
Pimps meets Benny Benassi Style with those subtle breakbeat breakdowns,
driving synth lines and the famous vocals worked to perfection. Chart topper
in Germany and could very well become 2004's "Salt Shaker (Somebody To
Love)". 10.49

Shiny Grey "Grey" Yellow FRA 12 - Wally Lopez on the mix here for Yellow
with a hypnotic, synthladen tech houser that is reminiscent of the remix he
did for Paul Jackson "The Push" that pairs well with the spellbinding male
vocal for a funky, pumpy production. 10.49

Simply Red "Home" Ministry Of Sound GER 12 - Single number 4 for the latest
revival of the veteran 80s act once again pairs those distinct male vocals
with some classy house mixes, as Motivo provides a solid summertime house
interpretation while Minimal Chic gives the track a techy touch that works
perfectly. 10.49

Bob Sinclar "Sexy Game" D:Vision ITA 12 Part 1 and Part 2. - Latest single
from the French disco house master features a hooky female vocal over his
trademark 70s-influenced production style. Part 1 has the original and mixes
from the Harlem Hustlers in a light, breezy summertime house style while
part 2 features remixes by the Gambafreaks in a punchier, techier style.

Martin Solveig "Rocking Music" Defected ENG 12 Part 1 and Part 2 - Eagerly
awaited new single from the masters at Defected, this is peak hour
disco-tinged house of the first caliber with a hooky male vocal that sticks
in your head and enough funky energy to get the crowd jumping. Disc 1
features the original and the solid remixes by Joey Negro while disc 2
features slightly deeper, but still hooky as hell, remixes from Warren Clark

Dave Storm f/Linda Lee Hopkins "Gotta Be With" Ceremony GER 12 - Massive
garage vocal house monster with a stunning, inspirational female vocal over
smooth piano-driven house melodies and shuffly smooth rhythm lines. Includes
solid remixes by David Penn and SUMO that give the vocal the perfect
platforms to shine. Very seductive release perfect for the more intimate
floors. 10.49

Sumo "We" Seasons USA 12 - Seasons with a hypnotic deeper house production
featuring a hooky, inspirational female vocal over smooth, shuffly rhythm
lines and a funky blend of house synths and live instrumentation. Perfect
for the smaller, smokier rooms. 6.79

Alan T "Ferosh" Voice Of Underground ITA 12 - Bigroom tribal monster here as
the lord of the dish works his vocal voodoo over two solid tribal remixes.
For the American bigrooms Friburn & Urik gives a classic hands-in-the-air
interpretation that just fits with Alan's saucy vocal lines while Evolved on
the flip go darker, deeper and grittier in their massive production.
Excellent single 10.49

Thick Dick "Tweakin" Sondos USA 12 - A massive tribal-progressive hybrid
with congas balanced by darker spacious synthwork to give the track tons of
punch and power. On the flip, the remix by Saeed (of Saeed & Palash) gives
the cut a more progressive feel, but still enough dark punch to keep the
bigrooms happy. 6.79

Various "Nite Life 18" NRK ENG 2xLP - A selection of tracks from Tom Stephan
's upcoming mix CD release on Nite Life, this features some excellent
peakhour bigroom tribal productions, including two of Tom's own Superchumbo
mixes and several of the tracks no longer in print as singles in their own
right. Includes tracks from Stacy Burket, Tutto Matto, Peace Division and DJ
Paulette. A great collection of cuts. 25.49

Martin Venetjoki "Let Me Be" Mouthful USA 12 - A powerful, hooky female
vocal is the star of this funky, disco-influenced house cut from the
legendary Venetjoki. More commercial in feel than his normal production,
this track will work perfectly in the intimate rooms that like classy vocal
house in a Defected vein. 6.79

Trance & Progressive

Benassi Brothers f/Dhany "Hit My Heart" D:Vision ITA 12 - featuring the
vocalist from KMC's 2002 hit "I Feel So Fine", this is a fun summertime
party track with bouncy rhythm lines, strong melodic elements and those
trademark Benassi tech synth stabs blended perfectly. 10.49

BK & Paul Masterson "Miami Mayhem" Nukleuz ENG 12 - Powerful hitempo
techhouse on the plate here, this is not your typical Nukleuz hard house
production but rather a gritty, punchy monster with a growly tribalized
vocal hooks and a sub-bass line that will blow speakers off their moorings.
BK's techy punch pairs well with Masterson's hooky synth lines that add
drama and tension to the production. On the flip Ali Wilson provides a solid
remix that gives the track a bit more of a traditional UK hard house sound
but still retains the techy punch of the track. 10.49

Celtic Dreamer "Bonnie Portmore" Relative ENG 12 - The music of Riverdance
is the inspiration for this bigroom UK trance production that features
bright waves of melodic synthwork, dramatic breakdowns and a hypnotic Celtic
female vocal chant worked into the production. Includes remixes by Climax 69
and Gladiator. 10.49

Cirque Du Solei "Aboriginie's Jam" White GER 12 -Francois Kevorkian & Eric
Kupper on the mix with a stunningly dark and pumping reworking of one of the
production instrumentals from the "Dralion" production of this world famous
Canadian act. Gorgeous female chants, haunting melodies and powerful rhythm
lines give the cut tons of punch and energy. Excellent release. 10.49

Celine Diablo "Shy" Closet ENG 12 - Judge Jules & Paul Masterson back with
another bigroom commercial vocal production as Ms Diablo's bouncy vocal is
paired with a hard, aggressive synth line and driving rhythms. On the flip,
Lost Brothers provide a more melodic, uplifting interpretation that works
very nicely with the blue-eyed vocals 10.49

Thomas Dolby "Blinded Me With Science 2004" Additive ENG 12 - circuating as
James Doman "Blinded With Chemical" this is an excellent, hard-hitting
progressive take on the early 80s new wave classic with the original vocals
and synth elements blended perfectly with a modern bigroom progressive house
orchestration. One of the best reworkings of a classic 80s track we have
heard this year, will definitely get the floors jumping. And it seems to
have official sanction, not merely a bootleg. 10.49

Envio "Time To Say Goodbye" A State Of Trance BNX 12 - gorgeous bigroom
Dutch anthemic instrumental trance cut on Armin's State of Trance label with
stunning melodic constructions, solid rhythm support and dramatic
breakdowns. Remix by Passiva gives the track a slightly darker, deeper feel.
10.49

Filo & Peri "Juicy 2004" Midway GER 12 - Stunning 2004 update of a classic
instrumental production, with Filo & Peri providing a solid new mix
temsevles with gorgeous synth orchestrations, dramatic breakdowns and solid
rhythm lines. On the flip Marc van Linden goes a bit darker and deeper with
his outstanding interpretation. Also includes the original version. 10.49

Shmuel Flash "Merc" Release Grooves ENG 12 - Hypnotic dark progressive cut
with a driving rhythm line, spacious synth washes and hypnotic hooks that
breaks down to a spacy male spoken hook "This Is The Sound" before building
into a dramatic breakout. On the flip J Groove reinterprets the track in a
techier, funkier vein adding a guitar lick that works perfectly in the
production. 10.49

Iio "Smooth" Made USA 2x12 - finally out domesticall, the massive 3rd single
from Iio comes with some new house and progressive remixes that to this
point had not been available commercially. Blackwatch give the track the
perfect funkier, housier interpretation that takes the vocal from its
bigroom basis for use in more intimate settings, while Steve Porter creates
an energetic darker progressive cut in his trademark bigroom style. Also
includes the massive bigroom trance mix by Airbase and the chunky
progressive interpretation from Pig & Dan as well as the solid original club
version. 11.49

Maurice & Noble "Hoochie Coochie" Loaded ENG 2x12 - For fans of the more
melodic progressive this is a solid single featuring in its original form a
hooky guitar line and a deep spoken male vocal hook that pair perfectly and
give the track a summery, sunrise feel. The Arcaic mix on the flip is a bit
more relaxes and adds a seductive piano line to the production. Very nice
release for fans of uplifting progressive productions. 15.49

Orbit Catcher & Mr Sam "We Are Free" Intensive BNX 12 - Gorgeous bigroom
vocal trance monster with arm-raising buildups of waves of melodic synth
lines, solid rhythms and an emotional female vocal blended together
perfectly. Remixes from Mr Sam and, on the flip, DJ Shah vs Pedro Del Mar
who up the tempo, sharpen the synth lines and give a more Germanic
interpretation to the production. 10.49

Mark Otten "Tranquility" Armind BNX 12 - The Armind label returns with this
lush, floating deep trance production that rides the border between trance
and progressive perfectly with its darker, spacier feel. On the flip Markus
Schulz pulls the track into pure progressive territory with his hypnotic
production. 10.49

Rank 1 "Conspiracy EP" ID&T BNX 12 - A collection of three stunning cuts
from their album that will not be released as separate singles, this is a
selection of stunning melodic trance anthems that show their production work
at its finest. Big melodies, smooth rhythm and dramatic breakdowns abound,
all three cuts are instrumental pieces ranging from the angelic Conspiracy
to the darker, techier and grittier "Down From The Deep." 10.49

Sultan "Rezin" Shinichi USA 2x12 - Doublepack featurig two singles with the
standout track being the vocal mix of the B-side cut Wadi which features a
stunning female vocal over a dark, slightly eastern influenced synth
production. Title track features a solid reworking from Valentino that gives
a brighter, slightly more melodic interpretation of the track. 11.49

Tiesto f/BT "Love Comes Again" Kontor GER 12 - The #1 DJ in the world
pairing up with one of America's top producers (who actually provides the
well executed vocals on this track) for a monster that is absolutely
essential for the trance DJ set. Tiesto gives us a techy, punchy
orchestration filled with massive buildups and solid rhythm lines that will
just devastate any bigroom. On the flip Mark Norman dub out the vocals and
adds a more melodic element to the synthlines for a massive mix of his own.
This will be one of the top trance tracks of 2004 and will become a staple
of the summer season. 10.49

Ian Van Dahl "Where Are You Now" Sushitunes GER 12 - The best of the Belgian
vocal trance acts are back again with a new bigroom vocal single and a
plethora of mixes to choose that will give the track playability in a wide
variety of rooms. Annemie's vocal is stunning and the original mix is a
bouncy bigroom melodic masterpiece perfect for the commercial rooms. Remixes
come from Red Carpet (in a slightly housier style that will work well in
rooms that can play NRG house but can't get the crowd into pure trance), G&M
Project (a dubbier bigroom trance production in the true Dutch master
style), MIKE (both in full vocal and instrumental version with stunning
melodies and a more restrained, polished feel) and Jan Vervloet (in a
harder, more party trance mode). 10.49

Sander van Dien "Terms" Twisted BNX 12 - Gorgeous Dutch melodic trance
production with an emotional male vocal over a stunning blend of hypnotic
synthwork and solid rhythms in the best tradition of Dutch production. Full
of emotion, this track will lift the heart to the heavens. Includes an
instrumental version on the flip. Stunning. 10.49

Versa "Chanting Souls" SAW USA 12 - Satoshi Tomiie's SAW imprint back again
with a stunning new single that features a completely hypnotic female vocal
paired with a punchy rhythm line and dark, expansive synth orchestration. On
the flip, Guy Gerber adds some additional elements to the production that
gives it a richer, more expansive feel while that fits perfectly with the
vocal. 6.79

Whirlpool "Under The Sun" Deepblue ENG 12 - Something for both fans of UK
melodic trance and progressive house here. First, Solarstone provides a
stunning summertime trance production with light, breezy melodic lines
counterpoised by a guitar line (is 2004 becoming the year of the rock guitar
in prog-trance productions??) and a breathy female vocal hook. Then Filo &
Peri provide a deeper, darker trance interpretation and finally Markus
Schulz brings the track into full progressive territory. A solid release
looking forward to the summer season - 10.49
