with a slight tech edge, driving rhythm lines and disco-flavoured synths

Evers B "Get Ready" Electron FRA 12 - Yes another track based on the synth
line from White Stripes "7 Nation Army" but this one has all of the
production levels one expects of bigroom French tech-tinged house behind it
to create a devastating reworking full of energy. Acidic guitar samples add
to the fun while a vococded spoken sample of the title completes the

Basement Jaxx "Plug It In" XL ENG 12 - Latest single from the veteran
producers features a funky, chunky tech-tinged reworking by Armand van

Borracha "Teledisco" Stop & Go ITA 12 - samples of Chic's "Everybody Dance"
synthline and vocal are woven into a solid bliend of bigroom Italian house
synthwork and rhythm lines for a fun, commercial house reworking of a
classic. 10.49



Louis Botella "I Can't Stand" Mi Casa USA 12 - Funky disco-flavoured house
in the Olav Basoski vein with one mix featuring a hooky female vocal loop of
the title while the flipside filters out the vocal to focus on the rhythm
and melody of the track. 6.79



Delgado "Coffee Beats 3" Dream Beat ITA 12 - A treat for the fans of the
conga, this release features a latin-tinged tribal production with a massive
conga line that builds the energy level to fever pitch as a Spanish-language
chant is blended in to the production. Includes a dub version that reduced
the chant to a minimum and lets the conga shine through. 10.49



DJ Pierre "Sometimes I Feel" King Street USA 12 - classy vocal house
production with a sassy, seductive female vocal paired with smooth
disco-tinged house synth and live instrumentation and restrained rhythms
that let the vocal shine through. The Wild Pitch mix on the flip thickens
the synth and rhythm lines to give the track more punch while keeping the

DJ Tocadisco "Nobody Likes (The Records That I Play)" Ultra USA 12 - For
fans of the funky German electrohouse sound here is the US edition of this
massive release that has topped most of the German club charts and broke the
top-10 of the German pop chart to boot. Hooky female spoken vocals of the
title paired with the retro-funky synth samples and slightly breakbeat
rhythm patterns for a very interesting release that could just be this year'
s Tomcraft "Loneliness". 6.79



Gaudino f/Crystal Waters "Destination Unknown" Robbins USA 12 and C5 -
Originally released in Italy last year, this track now surfaces in the USA
with the original and J Reverse mixes, full of disco-tinged house bliss,
present as well as a more energetic, dubbier reworking from Silent Nick
that makes less use of Crystal's catchy vocals. Breakout track on Billboard'
s Club Play chart. 6.79 for the 12", 7.79 for the C5



Ghetto Kids "Jungle Express" Heavy Traxx USA 12 - catchy bigroom house piece
with a hypnotic female vocal, driving rhythm lines and catchy house synths
and hooks, including an air raid siren. 6.79



Ralf Gum f/Inaya Day "What I Like" Gogo GER 12 - First of two cuts featuring
the talents of Ms Inaya Day on vocals, this track is the deeper of the two
with a funky, chunky synth orchestration and rhythm line that works
perfectly to suppor the stunning vocal. Very classy production. 10.49



Gus Gus "David 2004" Underwater ENG 12 - New 2004 remixes by Tim Deluxe that
was one of the tracks on everyone's lips at the Winter Music Conference this
year. The club mix featurea a bouncy synth line, driving rhythms, and those
stunning female vocal while the dub on the flip gives the track a punchier,
darker and more energetic kick with hooks from the chours blended perfectly.

Jasper Street Company "Got Me Going" God's House USA 12 - More inspirational
vocal house perfection from Jasper Street Company with the standout track
being the Joe T Vanelli remix of "He's Alright" that will make a believer
out of the most jaded person as the male vocal inspired and energized the
room. On the flip DJ Spen provides a solid mix of "Got Me Goin'" that gives
the track a definite gospel feel. 6.79



Justin "Take Me Baby" White ITA 12 Promo - Joe T Vannelli on the mix for
this Italian bigroom house release with bigroom synths keeping the energy
level high and driving rhythms supporting a seductive spoken female vocal.

Krystal K "Let's Get It Right" Robbins USA 12 and C5 - another import picked
up by Robbins for domestic release, the original version is a funky
disco-tinged vocal with a highly infections female vocal perfect for the
classy bigrooms. Also includes a funkier "Guitar Mix" as well as the massive
trance reworking by Altitude. 6.79 for the 12", 7.79 for the C5.



Laidback Luke f/Jay Underground "Popmusic" Egoiste GER 12 - Smooth
summertime disco house production from the Egoiste label featuring a
seductive male vocal supported by a shimmering blend of floating live guitar
and house synth orchestrations and shuffly rhythm lines perfect for poolside
play. Includes a solid remix by Aston Martinez on the flip that is a bit
more melodic and epic in feel. 10.49



Alberto Lessmann "Small Baby" Max Identity SPA 12 - Chuggy fusion of dark
tribal rhythms with spacious UK progressive synth swells that is becoming
the trademark sound of the Spanish tribal school this season. The Acid mix
is the more progressive flavoured of the two while the dub on the flip is
more in a tribal vein. 10.49



Mr Timothy f/Inaya Day "I Am Tha One" Confidential ITA 12 - Birgroom alert
as Ms Day lays down the law with this vocal performance supported by a
chunky rhythm line and dark aggressive synthlines that will get the hands in
the air. Completely massive release with a solid remix from E-Smoove on the
flip that is funky and chunky 10.49



David Panda "Loving Back" Seasons USA 12 - Smooth, seductive production with
a soulful male vocal, shuffly rhythm lines and a blend of house synth and
live instrumentation perfect for the more intimate rooms. 6.79



Pet Shop Boys "Flamboyant" EMI ENG 12, C5 Part 1 and C5 Part 2 - Followup to
the massive "Miracles" is another return to the electro-tinged origins of
the PSB sound, with Scissor Sisters providing a solid tech-tinged house
reworking that compliment's Neil's stunning vocals perfectly. Vinyl and CD2
also include the DJ Hell mix which is more purely electro in feel. Also on
the vinyl is DJ Hell's 2004 reworking of the track that started it all,
"West End Girls" with an update that is faithful to the original production
(with most of the original vocal) but updates and freshens the production
value while CD2 has exclusively the DJ Tomcraft remix of "Flamboyant." 10.49
for the 12", 10.79 for each of the CD-Maxis.



Praise Cats "Sing" Subliminal Soul USA 12 - Already making a splash on the
UK buzz charts this is inspirational vocal house at its best with a funky,
chunky rhythm line, a smooth blend of synth and live piano, and a
soul-lifting female vocal that is simply stunning. A track that will no
doubt be on a Hed Kandi compilation if it isn't already. 6.79



Peter Presta & Little Carlos "Hallelujah" Bush ENG 12 - One of the big names
in New York house gets a tough, techy tribal infused release on the veteran
Bush label. Hard hitting rhythm lines and sharp, aggressive synthlines
abound, with the tracks being best describes as New York tribal house with a
techno kicker. 10.49



Robbie Rivera & Axwell "Burning" Waako USA 12 - New set of remixes on this
massive Billboard Club Chart track with something for everyone as Mr Piraz
provides a solid house mix while the trance rooms are served by DJ Scotty's
remix and the fans of the breaks have a mix from Johnny Budz. 6.79



Room 5 "U Got Me" Noise Traxx ITA 12 - Limited promo copies of the next
single from Room 5 is based on the synth line from the classic late-90s
single "Freakin" by Studio 54, with a catchy female vocal worked into the
mix. A summer anthem in the making. 10.49



Rozalla "Alright" Sounds Heavenly ENG 12 - The queen of techno back for
2004 with this track that covers the famous 1991 single by Janet Jackson.
It is not a full cover, however but rather the vocal is composed of elements
of the chorus resung by Rozalla and blended with a solid house production
that gives the track a clear indication of what it is based on without being
a direct copy. 10.49



Socafrica "Hot" Azuli ENG 12 - massive bigroom house release from Azuli with
driving rhythm lines, funky house synth orchestrations and a hooky female

Ocasio. For fans of classy house this is the perfect collection of tracks,

White Spaces f/Jim Kerr "Alive & Kicking" Absolutely ITA 12 Part 2 - Second
set of mixes on this update of the Simple Minds classic with the vocals
resung by the original artist. This disc features a pumpy tribal house
interpretation by Javith and a funky disco-tinged reworking from Frank O'
Moiraghi, both o f which feature the famous vocal lines well blended into
the production. 10.49



Joyce Elaine Yuille "So 4 Real" Mix2Inside ITA 12 Part 2 - Second set of
mixes on this solid Italian houser with productions that range from funky
tech-tinged stomper by Mr Bonds to the seductive summertime house reworking
by Matteo Lonescus that makes full use of Joyce's stunning vocals. 10.49

Blackwatch & Greed "Gentle Rain" Release Elements USA 12 - Seductive
progressive house release with a haunting female vocal that floats over a
shimmering blend of shuffly rhythm lines, spacious synth swells and dramatic
breakdowns. The Jacked mix is the more restrained of the two productions

female vocal. For the fans of a more progressive house sound Markus Schulz
and Alex Odden provide darker, more spacious interpretations that blend well

Mauro Picotto "Iguana 2004" BXR ITA 12 - New 2004 remixes of this classic
bigroom hardtrance monster features a new reworking by Picotto himself that

techno treatment for a production definitely not for the faint of heart.

Milk & Sugar "Get Down Stay Down" Milk & Sugar GER 12 - not to be completely
pigeonholed as the masters of discohouse, Milk & Sugar go into a new
direction on this cut which features a sassy, say it straight female vocal
over a funky, chunky house synth and driving rhythm lines in the club mix,
while the album version is more textbook classic Milk & Sugar in sound.

Danny Buddha Morales "Walking On" Stealth ENG 12 - Roger Sanchez' label
moving away from the darkness for this new single which focuses more on the
funkier side of house with a hooky female vocal over a smooth blend of

those who prefer the darkness the Tribapella mix is chunkier in feel and
