Records, Columbus OH USA, for the week of 6-12 October 2003. All titles are

Dub Pistols "Problem Is" Distinctive ENG 12 Part 1 - two very different
house mixes on the latest single from the Dub Pistols. First Jon Carter
provides a solid funk-fueled house reworking in his signature style, then

Inner City "Big Fun 2003" PIAS ENG 12 Part 1 - new UK-only remixes on this
revival of a classic mid-90s house track. On this edition Kenny Hawkes
provides a solid underground house remix that preserves the full original
vocal in all its glory along with shuffling rhythm lines and synth
orchestration. Also included is the original remix by Magic Juan and an
electro interpretation by Agoria. US$9.99

Lambda "Live Together" Alphabet City GER 12 - hard-hitting bigroom
mainstream house track with tons of energy-building rhythm, dark, slighty
tribalized house synths, and an absolutely HUGE diva vocal worked into the

Lula "My Empire" *69 USA 12 and C5 - one of the most distinctive voices in
US clubland reemerges on *69 this week as Peter Rauhofer and Airmale provide
solid tribalized bigroom house mixes to accompany Lula's musings. The
CD-Maxi has additional mixes from Peakfiends and Piliavin & ZImbardo not

Mama Look Crew "Oh No No No" Azuli ENG 12 - second single from Azuli this
week, here a smooth disco-influenced single in the classic Azuli style with

Mama Razzi "Show Me Love" Susu ENG 12 - Richard Earnshaw on the mix for the
latest house release from the Susu camp. Smooth rhythms, warm underground
house synth orchestrations and a sultry female vocal combine for a stunning

Mogadisho "Fiesta Loca" Stop & Go ITA 12 - driving tribal rhythms are paired
with bouncy male vocal shoutouts of the title in this Latin-infused drum

hit, the original version is a breakbeat affair that doesn't sound much

Harry Romero & Mondo Grosso "Tornado" Subliminal USA 12 - latest single from
the Subiminal camp is a driving techy bigroom house monster with
hard-hitting rhythm lines, aggressive techy house synthwork and manipulated

Savier & Blue Bourbon "Should I" Refuel BNX 12 - fun mainstream house track
perfect for the end of the summer season with solid energetic rhythm lines,
driving, funky discofied house synthworks and an insanely catchy male vocal.
Don Diablo remix on the flip gives the track a bit of a retro feel to the

Seal "Waiting For You" Warner USA C5 - Follow-up to "Get It Together" is
another solid release as Seal's stunning vocals are ably supported by
remixes from Passengerz, Thick Dick, Pete Lorimer and Derrick Carter to suit
a wide variety of house floors. CD-Maxi this week, 2x12 will be available

Motu "Running Water" Icarus BNX 12 - solid Dutch trancer with a tougher edge
to it as the stunning melodies are paired with a rhythm line that adds a ton
of punch to the overall production. Remix by Visionaire on the flip is a bit
more on the melodic side with a choppy, slightly deeper feel to the overall
