Romantic tracks for wedding party

I have a wedding party coming up next month where I have been requested to play new romantic tracks in the party. I have a playlist , but not all are new per se. Could you suggest some romantic tracks for the occasion ? Any help is appreciated .

You should try to ask the couple on what they prefer. Or if you want to surprise them, you might want to ask their friends if what kind of music they like to listen. Then you might an idea what kind of romantic mix you will play.

Well for suggestion, Josh Groban has a romantic voice so I guess his songs could fit in well.

Definitely check to see what type of music they prefer, what type of play list do you have put together so far? I think if we knew a little more of their style and what type of wedding, maybe its theme, we could help more.

I just heard a nice one by Garth Brooks the other night, but country might not be their thing. Definitely check some of the American Idol contestants from last cycle. Most of hem are cutsy and probably have songs about love on their albums. Otherwise try looking at some of the playlists from an easy listening/light rock station. They should have some up to date stuff that will fit.

I forgot to mention the songs of Jim Brickman. Most of his composition are for weddings or for romantic melodies. If the couple likes classical piano, try to mix the piano pieces of Richard Clayderman.

If they like tech music, but were also born sometime in the late 70s/early 80s you might be able to find some artist that have remade those songs. Its worth a shot, but I would start with what they like, and for my friends, throw in a couple of extras.

Maybe you could even go back further into some of the disco and swing type bands, depending on what they like the possibilities are endless.

I hope this is not too late, but if you don't get anything specific from them, I think a good mix of the various generation music would be a hit. You will be entertaining all kinds of people there, so I guess you can't lose with that.

Classical music is always a safe bet if you ask me!

It can be beautiful and romantic without resorting to over the top or mushy lyrics...since classical is instrumental and all!

Seriously though, that's what I would have at my wedding!

People of all generations SHOULD be able to enjoy or at least tolerate Classical music.

You should ask the bride and groom what they like or ask their family and friends which type of music they would enjoy. I would try a google search for the top romance or wedding songs of this generation.
