! Setting Up An XP User Account for Recording

Hello everyone,

I am setting up one user account in Windows XP just to record old
cassettes and mixes into the PC for burning. I have disabled the basics
(messenger, virus scanners, XP sounds, etc.) but wonder if anyone has
or knows of sites with tips to tweak XP's settings for glitch-free
audio recording.

Thanks for any and all info offered.

re:! Setting Up An XP User Account for Recording

These tweaks are for Final Scratch but they are pretty much the same
for audio recording also.

Hope this helps.
