SHows, Concerts, ect
Has anyone here helped put on a big show/concert. I wanna know what the
details are as far as who i can contact, how to get sponsors, ect. I have connects to get the artists. But i need to know where to go from here. Thanks |

You need to contact notify or arrange.
Venue owners Police Council Production Company ( PA Lighting) Caterers Cleaners Security Co First Aid booking agencies newspapers Music Mags Record stores carnival sideshow operators Stall Holders Printers Web host Artist agents Toilet Hire ( subject to Venue) Hoarding and fence hire (subject to venue) Taxi Co Bus Co Nearby parking stations That's off the top of my head. You need to do lots of walking, talking and typing. They want to see what
they will get 4 their dollars. Be prepared for more knockbacks than acceptances. Firstly get some proposals together. It may be a little hard to get sponsors if you dont have any
experience, atleast anything thats gonna ammount to anything... As far as what you need, goto an event that is close to what your doing... take a notebook and write down all the venders you think are cool maybe talk to em and get their numbers etc... You'll atleast be able to get their names etc... Then lookin the phone book for compeitors if you want to watch your budget and price compare etc.... Just looking around you'll find alot of the numbers etc that you'll need. As far as licenses insurance those are pretty obvious... gotta talk to the city your in and give them a proposal of what you want to do, and they'll give you and event license and he requirments to get one.. As far as insurance ans security look in the phonebook...
