Small Single CD Player - such a thing?
when i dj out i like to drop my own tunes (obviously) i used to use a
Gemini CDJ-20 which was pretty small but is there anything any smaller around? I'm fed up of seeing all these size-of-a-car cd players that let me emulate vinyl effects - ive already got 2 decks next to me i just want something small i can plug into anyones system, use some samples, play some tunes then leave without having to build a new dj booth to fit it in.. any suggestions? -karl |

To be fair, I have no experience of the '20 you speak of, but your
question is a bit confusing to me. Surely the Numark Axis 9 and the Pioneer smaller machines fit the bill? As far as I am aware the Gemini '20 is still widely available (I cannot swear it is still in production). Perhaps some dealer is giving you a hard sell and not telling you the whole truth? |

Other companies sell similar products as the Gemini (American Audio, Stanton, Numark, etc.), but I believe they're all about the same size as the Gemini, if not larger. |

Re: Small Single CD Player - such a thing?
Thanks people, i just wondered incase anyone had seen anything new &
dinky I think ill buy another CDJ-20 (my last one died after a few field parties) Do you know if the cheaper CDJ15 has as good instant start (its worth money saving as i dont really use cues etc and i think thats the only difference between 15 & 20 - i cut my cd music to good cues on the compy before burning it) bobster123@aol.com (Bobster123) wrote in message news:<20031228122337.15599.00001914@mb-m03.aol.com>... > >From: karl@karlg.net (KarlG) wrote: > > > i used to use a > >Gemini CDJ-20 which was pretty small but is there anything any smaller > >around?
